The apartment includes a salon with balconies, American kitchen and 4 bedrooms

The apartment is on 2 levels and has been extensively modernised. The salon is comfy with a new multi channel digital TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with hob, oven, dishwasher and coffee machine. On the main level there is a double bedroom and bunk bed room. There is a bathroom with washing machine and a separate toilet. The hall way has racks and a heater for drying wet clothes and ski boots. Upstairs consists of a double mezzanine bedroom and a large attic room with lots of play space and a TV/DVD player. It can sleep 2/3. There is a shower room and toilet. There is a ski locker in the entrance foyer. We welcome children over the age of 5.

About Sally Wells

We have skied in a few different places but always came back to Courchevel because we love the vastness of the 3 Valleys and the reliable snow. The apartment was a total impulse buy, but we haven't regretted it having had dozens of fantastic holidays with family and friends.

Why Sally Wells chose Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

We loved the quiet but picturesque location and the good access to the mountain which means you can get out early and ski rather than getting caught up with the early morning lift queues in 1850. 1550 has a proper 'village' feel to it and everything you need is about 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

What makes this apartment unique

It is very easy to get the large chair which is about 50m above the apartment and gives you access right up the mountain and onto Meribel or La Tania without having to go through 1850. Intrepid skiers can ski back virtually to the door. 1550 is very proud of its fantastic Luge run, which is 3k long and descends a thousand feet. This runs from 5.30 to 7 in the evening and is free to use but be warned, it is fast and furious and not for those of a nervous disposition!

1550 village has a main lift station and both a telecabine and high capacity chair lift to get you onto the mountain. There is an ESF and tourist office. Lift passes may be purchased at the Grangettes lift station. There are several ski hire shops, bread shops, launderette, cash points and several restaurants and bars. There is a courtesy bus service which runs through the resorts at all levels until midnight. 1550 boasts a 3km 1000 foot descent lit luge run which is a real blast!

Well located, spacious and comfortable accomodation

8 of stayed over New Year 2016

This apartment suited us perfectly, the accommodation is very flexible and well appointed. Having a full kitchen meant we could eat-in most nights.

Situated opposite the Navettes ski bus stop in Courchevel 1550, this property is ideal for a family skiing holiday in the Trois Vallees.

We would definitely return again

Parfait !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement. Il est spacieux, bien entretenu et plutôt bien placé. La propriétaire nous a très bien renseigné à chacune de nos demandes et tout était conforme à ce qu'on nous avait annoncé. La grande chambre-salle de jeux a particulièrement plu à nos enfants. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans réserve.

Excellentes vacances

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'appartement est conforme à la description. Il est bien équipé, confortable et spacieux. Il était propre et nous avons eu le plaisir d'avoir des lits faits à l'arrivée ce qui est très appréciable après une longue route.

De plus il est situé à quelques pas de l'arrêt de bus. Il est facile de rejoindre courcheval 1650 ou 1850, et à l'inverse d'aller au Praz.

La propriétaire est très sympathique, et fournit tous les renseignements nécessaires.

Un sans fautes. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir l'année prochaine.

ideale Familienunterkunft

Wir waren (8 Erwachsene) eine Woche lang in dieser FeWo und konnten von hier aus perfekt Skifahren. Am Morgen mit dem Bus zur ersten Gondel und abends konnte jeder wann er wollte mit den Skiern bis vor das Haus abfahren. Bäcker und Geschäfte in der Nähe und Garage im Haus sind sehr angenehm. Toller Kontakt zur Vermieterin und reibungsloser Ablauf aller Formalitäten.

Appartement spacieux et bien placé.

Parfait pour 2 familles, il y a suffisamment d'espace avec ses 4 chambres, salon, 2 sdb et un grand balcon. L’appartement correspondait au descriptif et était propre et bien entretenu. Le contact avec la propriétaire était très bien. L'appartement est légèrement excentré par rapport aux commerces, mais 5 min à pied. L'arrêt du bus est au pied de l'immeuble et permet de rejoindre le village, les autres villages (1800 à 1300) et les stations de ski en quelques minutes. Aucun usage de la voiture sur place. Parking disponible. Astuce pour les skieurs pressés, prendre le bus en descendant à Le Praz (5min) et monter en télécabine au 1800.

Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Je recommande vivement.
