Hang Ten offers 'Beachfront' views from every room at 'Across the Street' pricing!
And the short, direct beach path is right in front of the house!
Hang Ten's location between 4th and 5th Streets is ideal, just far enough from the commercial center for quiet yet close enough for an easy bike ride or walk to the town center.
Hang Ten offers extra privacy with its unique L-shaped layout placing the two master suites at opposite ends. All rooms are bright and spacious with large double windows.

There are no power lines in front of the house to spoil the views, a real bonus in gulf beach area.

Hang Ten has three bedrooms and three full baths, a fully-stocked kitchen, laundry, covered parking, enclosed hot and cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning sink, and screened and open deck areas.

The pool is one of the most private on the island. One guest commented: you can wear your birthday suit! Pool Heat is available for an extra charge ($350 per week) during Spring , Fall and Winter depending upon air temperatures.

One of our guests said it best: 'Hang Ten was a wonderful vacation house. The layout was perfect to allow everyone privacy and it had everything we needed. Really enjoyed screened porch, view, access to beach and great pool! We were very pleased!'

Hang Ten also provides free wireless high-speed internet, a high chair, a playpen.

An outside security camera placed under the open deck in the nook of the "L" shape and viewing the driveway, street, and lower portion of the entry stairs was added in March 2023.

Dogs are welcome: $85 for up to two dogs.$45 each extra dog.
Monthly dog fee : $180 for up to two dogs and $80 for each extra dog

Hang Ten rents from Saturday to Saturday. The primary renter must be 25 years or older.

We really like Hang Ten-our favorite place on St George!
Most things about the house are great. Love seats and sleeper sofa need a serious upgrade. Directions on how to use tv and channel listing would be helpful. Screens in screened in porch need some repair and heating element in dryer may be wearing out. But everything else is great and we plan to come back next year-for our third year in a row.

Hang Ten is clean, well furnished and in general a great place to rent for a vacation. The house offers plenty of room inside as well as on the outdoor porch surrounding the front perimeter of the house. The private pool is a huge plus. It was more than large enough for our family of 6 and was clean. We paid to have the pool heated. At this time of year, the extra bucks to have the pool heated is well worth it. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much any cookware, utensils and dishes for cooking and dining needs. Reggie is super to deal with and responded double quick to a couple of issues that arose during our stay. He genually seemed interested that our needs were met and that we had a good time in his rental.

We are a family of 4 living in the Metro Atlanta area. We're all nature lovers and love traveling and spending time outdoors. In the summer of 2003 we vacationed on SGI and loved it completely and returned a month later to look for a place to call our own. We bought 'Hang Ten' in September.
Our goal is to make our guests happy.
Since 2013 we have been managing the property ourselves with the help of a very experienced, St. George Island-based management service company. This personalized and dedicated company handles the housekeeping and maintenance for us. They have been providing the customized service for our house and their goals include a very welcoming house upon your arrival and no need for service calls.

Why they chose this property

Hang Ten sits on a street to street lot., with good vegetation in the back yard which provides great privacy. The beach access is right in front of the house. There is also no power line in front of the house. Only 3 blocks to the lighthouse and island center, very convenient for shopping and dining. Its location is at the highest point of the island, so it is not prone to flooding by storms.
We think it is a perfect location.
