You won't find may true log cabin homes like this one in the Smokies, particularly one on the side of a beautiful mountain with such nice views! This three-bedroom cabin is loaded with amenities, like an oversized indoor jacuzzi tub, three satellite TVs, a hot tub on the back deck overlooking the valley below, a pool table, rocking chairs to view the distant mountains, a fully stocked kitchen, games and puzzles, and a Weber charcoal grill. Easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park via scenic paved country roads. The cabin is nicely decorated, with family heirlooms, paintings and prints from local artists, and themes for each bedroom -- deer/elk, bears and mountain cabin themes. Everything you could want for a great vacation in the Smokies.

Wonderful rustic cabin

Myself and my family had a wonderful time in the cabin. It had a really lovely feel. The hot tub and pool table were a great touch. We even had a snake on the verandah on our last night. The owner was very hands on answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous views, comfortable cabin, perfect location!

The Alpine View cabin is just as described in the listing. About halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, it's accessible to anywhere you'd like to go in the area. The view from the back deck is magnificent. Communication with the owner was easy, fast, friendly, and helpful. We are so happy we stayed here -- an excellent choice!

Perfect getaway with great view

We had such a great time during our 5 day stay at this cabin. The view off the back deck was amazing. The road to the cabin is very winding and if you suffer from motion sickness at all you will want to take some Dramamine. My husband acutually had to pull over because he became sick on the way up. Once he took his motion sickness meds though he did fine coming and going. The cabin was great though. We had everything needed for our stay. It was very clean and very home like. Hayden was great at communication and even called me a couple nights before our arrival to go over any questions. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this cabin for your upcoming vacation.

Enjoyable

We liked the location of the cabin. The drive way was very convenient, it was a drive through so no having to back up. The house overall was nice, could use some updating and cleaning. The oven constantly burned our food and the fridge froze most of our produce that we had to throw out. That was frustrating as we planned to do most of our eating and cooking at the cabin. The view from the back deck was great!

Cute cabin

We were comfortable and enjoyed the views. It was nice to have an option we could afford that allowed us to spend more days. Some kitchen items we needed were not available but we made it work. (ie. can opener and larger pots). We would stay here again.
