A peaceful haven in the countryside
This property more than lived up to expectations. The house was large and well furnished, exactly as described on the Home Away site. Raul, the owner, answered our emails promptly and Sue and John, the local managers, were friendly, available and helpful. They dealt with a problem with hot water as quickly as they could. Raul's information on how to get to the property and on the local area (eg shop, restaurant, nearby places to visit, etc) was clear and useful. We enjoyed our stay very much - it is a very beautiful and peaceful part of Italy.

Great place for a quiet stay
Casa Cappallino is managed by Sue and John for Raul, the owner. We arrived late afternoon to find the pre-ordered lasagne plus that Sue had prepared a perfect first meal. The house is private, quietly situated with its individual characteristics. Lovely to step out of the downstairs bedroom onto the patio with its superb view. The area is also quiet but with a number of attractions both near and further afield. Restaurants are nearby with a choice of venues, our favourite being a 2 minute car drive away. Overall highly recommended and Sue and John will do all they can to help you have a great stay.

Consiglio vivamente

Beautiful house, amazing location.
Casa Cappellino was an absolute delight! Exactly as described with the most amazing view of the mountains. The house was immaculate and well-maintained with everything we could possibly need. Raul was responsive to our communications at all time and had arranged a wonderful basket of food to welcome us. It was fun cooking on the outdoor grill and an absolute delight eating on the terrace. I would definitely be recommending this property to friends.

Hi. We are a Colombo-American family who love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. We enjoy a spiritual and simple life, being surrounded by beautiful landscapes, great wine, and delicious food. We speak fluent English and Spanish, and have a decent understanding of Italian and speak the basics.

Why they chose this property

When you enter the grounds you are immediately surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the property including the beautiful landscaping, our amazing vineyard, the many different fruit trees, the olive trees, rabbits, ponds, etc., etc. And just look up and there is the house where the famous Michelangelo was born and the amazing surrounding hills.

What makes this property unique

In this region of Tuscany, you find the Italy everyone dreams about. Of course, our amazing local restaurants serve the wonderful, reasonably priced food you expect; however, in addition, just strolling down to the local grocery store you will meet the most wonderfully genuine Italian neighbours who will be so happy to share a few words with you (in Italian of course)
