The property is wel positioned to visit the most important cities of Tuscany as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Siena, the famous villages of Volterra and San Gimignano are only 40 Kms far away. The nearest (sand)beaches are around 35 kms from the property. The house is easily to reach if you arrive by airplane (the airport of Pisa is only at 34 Kms, while Florence's airport is 80 Kms far away). The villa lies in a very quiet position, it has a private garden and swimming pool with nice views on the surrounding hills. The whole property is for private/exclusive use of the tenant. The closest town (with grocery store and restaurant) is at walking distance (around 1km) from the property. There is a shopping center at 4 kms. The house is suitable for 6-8 persons. All the bedrooms are on the first floor. There are 2 double bedrooms and one with 2 single beds (it is possible to add a folding bed, suitable for a child, in one of the bedrooms). All the bedrooms have air conditioning. Baby cot available on request. On the ground floor there is a living room (with a double sofa bed) and a well equpped kitchen. Outdoor you will find a big porch equipped with table and chairs and a barbecue to cook. The pool is 9 by 4 meter and the depth is of 1,10 meter. The pool area has a large gazebo and it's equipped with sun loungers. The house has all the most common household appliances (DVD player, stereo/CD player, air conditioning in the whole house, Wi-fi internet connection, American coffee machine, squeezer, mixer, microwave, dish washer, washing machine, TV and SKY pay TV, hairdryers). Near the house there are 2 covered parking places.

Nearest golf clubs (all at around 30-40 minutes driving): Cosmopolitan golf & Tirrenia Golf Club (18 and 9 holes, both near Pisa and Sea), Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 hole, near San Vivaldo), Golf Club Bellosguardo Vinci (9 holes, near Empoli) The Poggio de' Medici golf club (18 hole, near Florence) is at 1h30 driving and the golf club Le Pavoniere golf (18 hole, near Prato) is at 1h10.

Peace and beauty

Glorious views, wonderful pool, great house and helpful property manager. Ease of access to most of Tuscany is great. Road to property is a little narrow bath at is my only issue. The rest of it was wonderful.

Great villa, beautifully clean, large outside space, lovely pool, amazing views.

Great location, for visiting Pisa, Florence,Siena, San Gimagnano, Volterra etc. Lovely outside space with large pool, that was cleaned twice in the week, beautiful views, very peaceful. The villa was huge, with everything thing you need to make it home from home. Air conditioning and WiFi. Had a great week.

Casa Cigliegiolo, for a stress-free holiday

What a breathtaking view on the valley from up there! The house has all the necessary accommodations needed. Very cosy Italian interior with antique details. The property was well-maintained and very clean. We were welcomed by a very charming and friendly owner, always offering the best service possible when needed. We would definitely recommend this house! Perfectly situated for visiting beautiful villages like Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa. We also recommend Ristorante Pizzeria Il Gallo in Lari (5 minutes driving from Soiana). We had a great week ! We'll miss Lolo ;-)

Loved it so much we came back!

This is what we said last year: "Great villa - large, well equipped, comfortable beds, air con in every room and wifi that works. Pool is perfect and the views and locations are truly stunning. You really are 'away from it all' but civilisation is a short drive away and makes a great base to explore Western Tuscany from. Guido Bauduin is really helpful and manages the property to a high standard" We loved it so much last year we came back this year - everything we loved unchanged.
