Anzère is a friendly and attractive south-facing family village with all the expected amenities of an alpine ski resort for both winter and summer activities. Anzère's new Wellness-Centre, with indoor swimming pool, fitness gym, hammam, sauna, outdoor hot tub, massages & jet & bubble beds is fantastic and is a perfect way to relax after a day on the mountain with the family.
The Valais Region (Switzerland):
Some of the most stunning Alpine scenery is to be found in the Valais region of Switzerland. At the heart of the Rhone Valley is the historic fort town of Sion, which is 20 minutes away. The west end of the valley opens out onto Lake Geneva and the east part finishes up with the Rhone Glacier. Other aspects of the region include excellent local wines, thermal hot springs, traditional foods such as raclette, and the local fire-water 'Williamin'!
Anzère is a medium sized friendly family ski resort with runs ranging from green, red, blue to black. The snow record of Anzère is excellent. There are a wide range of mountain restaurants, with superb views, and great food. The snow park has been a recent but very welcome addition for snowboarders & adventurers alike. Snow shoeing is very popular as are Nordic walking & cross country skiing. There are many trails to be discovered.
Access to many other ski areas is possible Anzere by bus or by car. These include Crans-Montana, which is 15 mins drive from Anzère, and on the opposite side of the Rhone is the Four-Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier, & Nendaz. Further a field, are the resorts of Zermatt, & Saas-Fee.
15 km from Anzère is Crans-Montana with its 18 holes golf course (par 72). The Golf Club hosts the European Master Golf Tournament annually, one of the main European events. There is also a 9 hole course, designed by Jack Niklaus (par 35). Another 9 hole course for beginners at Super Crans. The Sion and Sierre Golf Clubs (20 minutes' drive), featuring 18 & 9 holes respectively. Anzère is within 30 minutes' drive from all these Clubs.
In the Summer, fresh trout fishing is available in several of the local lakes. A fishing permit can be purchased from the Tourist Office and fishing rods can be rented too.
Tree Adventures :
There are several parks, within 30 mins of Anzere, where different levels of challenges can be sought. All very safely controlled, you can be 2, 5 or 10 metres from the ground zip-wiring through the forests.
Switzerland has some of the highest dams in the world - many can be explored internally by booking a guided tour. Most notably the Barrage de la Dixence, the highest gravity dam in the world. Well worth a visit and visible from the apartment - approx 1 hr away.
There are many museums in the region but most notably is the Fondation Pierre Gianadda. Well worth a visit for all the exhibitions - recent ones include Modigliani, Chagall, Van Gogh, Renoir, Picasso to name but a few.
Adventure & Water Parks :
There are several adventure parks from a miniature railway park, a maze and labyrinth park to a water/flume park - these are within an hour by car from Anzere.

Our apartment benefits from being South Facing with a garden whilst being in the heart of the village; without the noise drawbacks of the village square. It is very restful and peaceful enjoying the ever changing views of the mountains. The apartment is 3 floors down from the Village square where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle during the high/medium season as well as the playground, coffee shops, restaurants and limited shopping. The Swimming Pool, Fitness, Spa and Wellness Centre is a two minute walk which can be undertaken in a bath robe through the underground garage even in the height of Winter - no need for snow boots!
A garage space is available at an additional cost of approx £100 per week if necessary.
The Village is a car free area and is very safe. Children can roam freely whilst parents, grand-parents, friends can enjoy the atmosphere whilst having a coffee and keeping an eye on the little ones.
A true oasis is our busy world.

The Terrace of the apartment is South Facing and slightly set back allowing for breakfast and lunches to be taken outside even in the height of Winter. It is very private with a blind allowing for additional privacy and protection from the sun whilst enjoying the ever changing spectacular views.

In the event of any breakages or damage. Please advise us and we will direct you as to how to replace damaged or broken crockery or small items. It won't be a problem providing we know about it. We hope that you will enjoy our home and return for many years to come. Thank you for considering our wonderful home for your holiday. Rates & dates are negotiable outside of high season.
A non refundable 30% deposit is paid on booking. Full payment is due 6 weeks prior to your arrival. The security deposit is payable at the time that the full payment is due. The security deposit if fully refundable upon mutual agreement and upon confirmation by the cleaner/agent in the resort, that the apt inventory has been checked on departure and prior to the next guests arriving.
