There are masses of restaurants just 15 minutes away in beautiful provencal villages and the larger L'isle sur la Sorgue is a well known antiques centre which has a weekly market. Avignon, again 15 minutes away has a theatre festival during the summer and is always a bustling city with the Palais du Papes at its centre. The Pont du Gard in Nimes is well worth a journey and is about 40 minutes away. There is a Blues Festival held 5 minutes walk away and each village has it's own festival at some time during the summer. Pernes les Fontaines is just 10 minutes away with its 40 fountains, Arles and the Camarague 1 hours drive. The Luberon is 30 minutes drive and is a beautiful wooded countryside with picturesque hilltop villages and vineyards. For those looking to leave the gardens and pool at the house there is rafting, horse riding, cycling, golf, caving and almost everything in between.

Beautiful house and garden

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 10 old friends visiting the area and this house was ideal. The photos on the website don't do it justice - the garden is huge and the pool beautifully kept. The rooms were lovely, especially the sitting room, which is like a baronial hall. Absolutely everything was there that you might want, and we didn't need to leave the house. But it's in a good place to visit lots of lovely nearby towns. A brilliant place for a holiday and I'd happily recommend it. .

Great Family vacation in the Avignon region

  • 5 of 5

We just loved our stay at this house. A beautiful and very confortable home, with a great location for visiting around .We arrive by train to Avignon where we rented a Van and from the house made different day trips and we had the nice swimming pool waiting for us at home.

We were a Family of 6 , my husband and me and 2 married sons of 30-35 (originally were 8 but our daughter could not come and the house had 5 very nice bed rooms ) everyone enjoyed the place.

The house and gardens are as beautiful as the photos show . We enjoyed the barbecue and the kitchen is very well equipped and we found fruit, jams and other things waiting for us when we arrived

We would love to go back and I have already recommend the house to all our friends back home

We can only recommend the owners to arrange paypal or any other simple way of payment for the guarantee because from Chile it is very expensive and not easy to make payments or get your money back at the end of the rental

We loved our time here

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved our stay at this house. A home from home and very comfortable. From 70 year old parents to 5 year old children everyone enjoyed our trip. The house is as beautiful as the photos suggest and the gardens are a delight.

You need a car if you as staying here and there is so much to do in the area. Lactose, Orange and Isle Sur La Sorgue are beautiful and interesting

This region is my favourite part of France.

We would very much like to go again.

a perfect place!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful relaxing week at this beautiful house. The house has everything you could possible need, and it is spacious and beautifully furnished, and has a very welcoming feeling about it. We had to drag ourselves away from the house and pool to do the minimum obligatory sight-seeing. There is plenty of choice for shopping and tasty eating in the nearby towns. We highly recommend it.

An idyllic family retreat in Provence

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful house in a stunning location with everything you could possibly want for a great family holiday. Peaceful, with a wonderfully heated pool, yet close to lovely towns with fine restaurants such as Isle sur la Sorgue, Pernes and Avignon is 15 minutes away. We cycled to the bakery in the morning and sometimes walked across the fields to the local bar. What a great place to get away from it all, completely relax and forget the rest of the world. The air conditioned rooms meant we could sleep at night and the pool kept us cool during the day. The garden was beautifully maintained. We have a 6 year old and some grown up children and they all absolutely loved it. I would most definitely recommend this fab location.
