About the property

Ideal for short breaks (3 days min) to explore the Lake District National Park.

Less than three years old 3 bedroom town house. The property is accessed via a driveway (suitable parking for three average sized cars) to the front door. Once inside a door to the right is a cloakroom for coats and shoes/boots. To the left is a door leading to a utility room with Bosch washing machine and separate Bosch condensing tumble dryer. There is a sink and drainer with cold water tap only for cleaning walking boots etc. There is an ironing board and steam iron for your use. A clothes horse is also provided for those items not suitable for tumble drying. Coats and boots can also be stored here.

The bedrooms consist of a master bedroom with King size bed, double wardrobe, 4 drawer chest and 2 over 3 drawer chest, 2 bedside cabinets, en-suite double shower room with basin and WC.

The second bedroom consists of a double bed, two bedside cabinets, 4 drawer chest and double wardrobe. The third bedroom consists of a single bed, bedside cabinet, double ward robe, five drawer chest and a computer desk.

All bed linen is provided by South Lakes Services who look after the changeovers for me.

A family bathroom with full size bath with electric shower over with screen, basin and WC is located between the three bedrooms.

The first floor consists of a lounge with leather 3 piece recliner suite consisting of a 3 seater and two seater sofa plus rocking chair, light oak coffee table, sideboard, lamp table, nest of tables and TV cabinet. There is a Samsung Smart 49" LED Curved screen TV with full SKY package and DVD player. There is a HiFi system on the sideboard with docking station. We have wireless unlimited internet available.

The kitchen diner is fully fitted with everything you will need for a self catering holiday including electric double oven, gas hob, Bosch fridge freezer, Bosch dishwasher, a microwave with a grill, toaster, kettle, oak dining table and 4 faux leather chairs. There is a Bosch Tassimo available for those clients who bring their own capsules and a breakfast bar with two real leather bar stools. From the dining room there is access to the patio via french doors. Between the kitchen and lounge is a WC with basin and wall mirror.

Our house is professionally cleaned after each rental and all laundry is taken away to the cleaning companies own launderette. The managing agent will provide our clients with a number to call in the unlikely event of an emergency.

We also provide a welcome pack in the kitchen, tea coffee, milk and a bottle of Rose wine imported from France.

Outside there are 3 parking spaces and a side access via 14 wooden steps to the back garden and gate. There is a paved patio with a wrought iron table 2 chairs and a love seat. Steps rise from the patio between two large planters to a path that brings you to the summer house. The lockable French doors on the summerhouse open up to give access to a rattan sofa set. There are internal lights and power for evening use. The Hoad Monument is in full view from within the summerhouse.

The garden is supplemented with outside lighting so that the garden can be used in twilight hours.

The property is heated by a combi boiler central heating system via thermostatically controlled radiators providing instant hot water at all times.

We do hope that anyone staying here will have the perfect holiday.

We bought this property to holiday let in the summer months as we go abroad from April to October. It is in a perfect location to explore the southern Lakes and Cumbrian coast.

Brand new house with brand new fixtures and fittings. All new appliances. Short walk into Ulverston so having a drink or meal at one of the many local bars and restaurants is stress free. Ideal for two couples to share accommodation. Parking for three average size cars.

Had a really nice stay at Crow's Nest. The house is extremely clean and tidy and very well equipped. A prefect location to explore the area. Would happily stay there again.Recommend The Mill and L'al Churrasco for a meal, and Gillam's for amazing hot chocolate. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Clean, comfy & close to town

We really enjoyed our stay. We were up for a week to visit Printfest 2017. The directions were easy to follow and access to the property was easy. Everywhere in the house was clean. The kitchen had everything we could need with plenty of storage space. Lounge furniture was comfy. Lovely large TV with Sky service, including Sky movies - we could have left behind half the books we brought with us! The beds were comfortable and again, lots of storage for clothes. Bathroom & en-suite also clean with nice showers.

Ulverston town is an easy walk - wife has rheumatoid arthritis and even she managed walking into town and the walk around Hoad Hill (but thank goodness for the benches along the way).

We loved staying here and will try to book again for Printfest 2018!

Beautiful home in a lovely little town.

Having only had a couple of short trips through the Lakes previously, we wanted to experience it a bit more thoroughly......and we weren't disappointed. The property is in a great location, with just literally a few minutes stroll into the town, where there are some lovely independent shops and pubs - The Mill and Sun Inn were especially good. The house is very well appointed and finished to a high standard and has everything you need for providing a good base for whatever you have planned during your trip. Have already recommended to some friends and family and would have no qualms in booking here if we visit the area again. Thanks for letting us stay, we had a lovely time.

Very modern and comfortable house, with easy access to Ulverston

5 of us (almost all/nearly adults) had a good time here. It is a very well equipped house and beautifully furnished. The summer house and garden are an asset and the shops and restaurants of Ulverston are only 5 minutes walk away.

Beautiful property in great location

Well equipped and well situated property about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ulverston. The facilities are great and the house has everything we needed as a family with small children to make our lives very comfortable for the time we were there. Would highly recommend.

A short walk and you are in the centre of Ulverston with all its amenities including many pubs,wine bars and restaurants. Our property has space for up to three cars to park off road providing safe parking and easy access. This holiday home is ideal for walkers to visit the area and spend time in the beautiful Lakeland National Park only a few miles away. The Cumbrian Way starts a few hundred yards from this property.
