An excellent villa with great service

My friends and I have just returned from a one week stay at Villa Flores and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The villa is clean, well kept and spacious with the feeling of a home rather than a rental property. The owner lives nearby and is friendly and helpful; very quick to get back in touch both via email when arranging the booking and over text/whatsapp should anything come up during the stay. We had the privacy to make lots of noise and splash about in the pool without complaints or disturbing anyone.

The views of the surrounding area are stunning and it is a pleasure to look out on them enjoying a leisurely cooked dinner and glass of wine. The local town has a small supermarket as well as welcoming bars and restaurants. For those with the desire to explore, the area has plenty to offer: There are turquoise lakes in the north, ideal for a picnic and swim, there are historic towns such as Ronda. For children (and childish adults) there is the water park at Torremolinos and for the more adventurous there is the recently refurbished Caminito del Rey “The King’s pathway”, a walkway through a steep gorge.

The usual rural villa considerations apply: use of bottled water for drinking/cooking, being careful of what is flushed down toilets, using your own towels for going to the beach and not taking glassware to the pool area. All normal practices and the owner did their best to minimise the impact on our holiday e.g. there are free containers of water prefilled and plenty plastic plates and cups for use outside.

So far our group have enjoyed five villa holidays together and we all agreed that this trip was the best one yet. We’re not quite ready for work tomorrow but we did enjoy a relaxing and refreshing time which we will not forget. Thank you!

BEST HOLIDAY EVER!!!

we went with a group of 14 boys after our exams!

the bedrooms are not all in one building, they are like split up into 3: one by the pool, 2 in the main house and 2 in a separate building, but all close with lighting in between. some of the rooms and beds are real cosy! if your not all couples then you might want to spread out, some of us slept on the sofa beds and some on the actual sofas which were really comfortable!

the house is literally in middle of nowhere so if your looking for peace and quiet this is your dream!

the house is well looked after. you must remember to always close all doors to stop flies and mosquitoes coming in and make sure the mosquito nets are closed when the windows are open. you need to be quite independent in terms of the house. she supplies enough for you to start off but then you need to get your own stuff like toilet paper etc... we kind of didn't really leave the villa besides going to the near by village to drop our rubbish and to go to the supermarket and we once went to a port (in Malaga i think)... not sure where it was but was like a 45 min to an hour drive. the pool area was primarily the reason why we hardly left. it was the greatest part of the villa by far! loads of really comfortable deck chairs, the most amazing bbq area and nice tables and chairs where we ate basically all our meals outside! the weather was perfect as even when its really hot since you are in the mountains you get a breeze! the pool was so refreshing to go in and this area was literally heaven! the owner is also one of the best parts of the villa. she went so far to help us and make us enjoy your stay as much as possible! she lives on top of you in one of the buildings - not the main house. but she has her own entrance and you literally don't notice her. we made the most noise you could imagine late into the night and she never said anything! its also really useful having her there to help when and if anything goes wrong! and you can literally just whatsapp her or shout her name and she will be down in a second ready to help. we didn't have a car which is quite a major thing especially for this villa but we used a minivan taxi and taxis but the owner literally drove us everywhere for such a reasonable prices! she picked and dropped boys up to and from the airport that came late and left early, she drove us to the village so often and even got out and helped us with the shopping. a homey and warm villa in the most beautiful location!

Beautiful location and comfortable accommodation

We had a lovely week at this very comfortable villa. The mountainous location is fantastic and the villa is well equipped. The barbecue area near the pool is fantastic, and we made lovely paella. There were eight of us in our group and we were able to spread out and relax. The pool is beautiful and the glass fronted terrace gives a good view over the mountains. Although in a very private location, the villa is well situated for exploring Andalucia, in particular the Camino del Rey and Ronda.

Roma is a good hostess and provided both a welcome meal and tapas on the last evening. There were also lots of extras in the fridge that we enjoyed. The villa was clean, but do make sure that you protect yourself against mosquitoes. Note also that bedroom 3 is a mezzanine and quite compact. All the other bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. I would recommend this villa to friends and family, but with the advice that you must be prepared to collect drinking water from the village, and take all your rubbish down to the municipal bins in the village.

The Perfect Getaway

We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to your splendid holiday home. Also to thank you for organising the bikes for us and introducing us to David your guide, who brought us on some fabulous and varied routes with breathtaking views. We found some lovely spots to stop off for a well deserved lunch in the surrounding villages. Our group also enjoyed the more restful days by your lovely pool in such a tranquil and stunning setting. We hope to book again for another year.

Villa au top !!!!!!

Une villa incroyable !!!! Équipée de A à Z cette villa est tout simplement parfaite avec une vue incroyable. Nous étions 14 jeunes de 23 ans a y aller et nous avons été ravi de notre séjour. La propriétaire habite juste à côté mais il n'y aucun problème pour faire du bruit jusqu'à tard dans la soirée (5h easy!).

La villa est très isolé de tout, il ne faut pas avoir peur de se perdre dans la pampa la 1ere fois, mais la propriétaire vous indique parfaitement le trajet a faire par mail.

L'avantage également de cette maison est qu'elle est située a 2h de grenade et de Séville. Vous avez également un lac a proximité pour des activités nautiques (15 min). Et puis vous avez un restaurant fabuleux a 5-10 min en voiture chez Lorenzo y Carmen!

Tout ça pour dire que cette villa est appropriée à tous que ce soit pour une grande famille ou pour des jeunes :)

EXCELENTE!

La casa está muy bien, el salón es enorme, sobre todo el ventanal que da a la piscina que está cerrado y cubierto, tiene como 3 estancias diferentes.

El único inconveniente es la señalización de la casa, debería tener un cartel en la carretera ya que el acceso es bastante complicado, nosotros llegamos por la noche y no se veía nada.

Roma es muy simpática y atenta.

Sin duda volveremos!

A non refundable booking deposit of 25% is required to secure your dates, thereafter the balance of 75% is due 8 weeks prior to check in date, together with a €300 security deposit. Should you chose to cancel your holiday there will only be a 50% refund if the property can be re-let for that period. The security deposit is fully refundable one week after departure, subject to breakages / damage.
Heating or air conditioning are charged at €150 per week, or minimum €100 per short stay.
pool towels are an additional fee of €3 each. and not to be removed from the property.
