Only 5 minutes from the slopes with amazing views of the Pleney ski slopes

Apartment Eloise is a beautiful 3 bedroomed self-catered/catered ski Apartment with 2 bathrooms.

There are 3 bedrooms - 1 ensuite with king size bed, 1 twin bedroom and 1 bunk bed room with pull out trundle bed. All beds are full size, even the trundle bed. All bedrooms have hairdryers. There are wardrobes and drawer units in all 3 bedrooms, so plenty of storage space.

The main bathroom and ensuite are identical in size and facilities (both have excellent showers), so this Apartment is ideal for a large family or 2 families sharing who may wish to have a bathroom each.

The main lounge is a spacious area, which really feels like a home from home, with comfortable sofa and arm chairs with footstools in front of a log burning fire and 40” Smart TV. Netflix is provided free of charge as is fast unlimited wifi. There is a dining area which can seat up to 8 people. Cot and booster chair are available if required.

Surrounding the lounge/dining area are large windows that capture the spectacular views of the Pleney slopes. In the winter watch the skiers and in the summer the colourful paragliders descend from the sky.

The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher, modern twin oven, induction hob, microwave, slow cooker, toaster, coffee maker and individual tea maker. There is also a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.

It has its own small sun trap garden with bbq, picnic table and garden furniture for those summer months as well as a hot tub which is kept at an optimal temperature, so can be enjoyed all year round.

Apartment Eloise has its own ski cave (which is accessed from the front of the property) to store skis, boots, helmets and ski jackets the ski cave is fitted with boot warmers.

There is dedicated parking for 2 cars and a secure bike box for up to 4 bikes for our summer guests.

The Apartment is brilliantly located which means it is not only walking distance to the bars, restaurants and shops in Morzine but skiing is only 5 minute away either on the slopes of Morzine or the high altitude skiing in Avoriaz which is year on year one of the best and snowiest places in Europe.

Apartment Eloise is Multipass Accredited for those of you looking for cheaper activities in the Summer season!! With white water rafting, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding to name but a few.

Beds will be made up for your arrival, towels, bathrobes and end of stay clean are included in the price. Hairdryers are supplied.

Daily baguette and pastries delivery can be arranged all year round.

We can arrange transfers from Geneva Airport if required.

We can arrange equipment hire from doorstep skis (with up to a 35% discount) who will bring and fit your equipment at the Apartment for you.

About Karen

We have four children, two are now in their 20's and the younger two are 13 and 11 years old. We are a family of skiers.

Why Karen chose Portes du Soleil area

We have been skiing in many countries but Morzine is our favourite place. Not only is it like entering into a chocolate box village when the snow falls, but it is perfect for all ages and skills. Morzine is so pretty both in winter and summer and there is so much to do there, it has often been described as a boys playground. So it was the obvious place for us to buy.

What makes this apartment unique

We couldn't beat this apartment for its location on the free ski shuttle route to both the Pleney and Avoriaz and its views of the Pleney slopes. With its warming log-burning fire, private garden with Hot Tub where we can enjoy a glass of our favourite tipple whilst looking at some fantastic views of the slopes. The wrap-around balcony, ski storage and spacious bedrooms, it fulfilled all our wishes. We have been to so many places in the past and found some to be really disappointing so we wanted to make this apartment somewhere which would exceed expectations of the normal guest.

We first spent 4 days in beautiful Annecy but our week in Morzine and apartment eloise topped it. Apartment Eloise is just perfect in every way. It feels homely, private, luxurious, very well equipped and we simply did not want to leave. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and we used it every day! Our children are 10, 17 and 19 and Morzine suited us all, it's a beautiful town with so much to do. We used the summer pass every day. It is a bit of an uphill walk back to the apartment from the town but it only takes 10 minutes and it is The Alps. The view from the kitchen and dining room was always worth it. One of our favourite holidays. Go to The Alps in the summer.

The property is very well presented.

The property has everything you need to make your life very easy and comfortable. The highlight of the property was the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable so slept very well indeed. It was an easy walk into town as it was all down hill, coming back with shopping bags was a little harder but the views were spectacular so it was fine for us. The most memorable thing about the apartment were the views from the kitchen and dining room, they were breathtaking. Many thanks. Jo, Matt, Oliver and Harry

Excellent acommodation!

The Winter is as beautiful in Morzine as the Summer and don't forget high altitude skiing earlier or later in the season is also really easy with only 10 minutes from the time you get on the shuttle near the apartment to skiing the slopes in Avoriaz. A great location for both Morzine/Les Gets and Avoriaz and therefore the whole of the Portes du Soleil area with over 400 miles of skiing! Karen

Lovely apartment, well equipped and quiet.

Apartment very comfortable, great hot tub and BBQ a great touch. Kitchen very well equipped. Morzine is an ideal place for a family holiday with teenagers and the multi pass made it fantastic value. Mountain biking was exciting, we loved the cable cars and chair lifts and the luge was fun.

Nice apartment

Modern clean and comfortable apartment. one double room and two twin rooms, one had two single beds, the other had single bunk beds. double room had ensuite shower room and faced garden patio. we had our own private hot tub and also had our own private storage for skis and skiboots - lots of ample space. kitchen and living room were very well appointed and comfortable. overall, a very warm, welcoming, comfortable and relaxing place to be after a long hard day in the mountains!

only thing that needs looking into is the hot tub - brilliant to have when we came back, all heated up and ready to go. only thing is on one occasion the water was quite cold and on another the water had drained out somehow and was only half-full.

catering service was fantastic, we enjoyed every meal! complimentary wine selection however could be better for price paid and in fact when we gave that feedback to the owner we got somewhat better wine the next day. still can be improved a bit for just a couple of euros more per bottle.

location of apartment is not as close to town as we thought. we had a rental car so it was easy to get to/from town, or the bus nearby also made it easy. it's at least 15 minute walk (all downhill!) to town and quite a bit longer to walk back (uphill!). we had our own parking space for the car.

overall we had a great stay and we felt the owners really tried hard to make the place welcoming and comfortable. there were a couple of really minor snags frankly but nothing that got in the way of having a fabulous time. We'd definitely recommend it - although there was just 4 of us all adult, this is also easily a perfect place for families.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. The problem we've noticed with the hot tub is that the controls are near the steps and it's easy to knock them into "sleep" mode when you get in and out. We did it ourselves recently! We are looking at ways to cover the controls so this doesn't happen in the future. We can't have guests not enjoying the wine, especially as they're in France, so we're changing the wine this season. We appreciate feedback as it helps us to get things just right for everyone to have a great time. We are so pleased you all enjoyed yourselves. Karen

Absolutely fabulous!!

We decided to take an Easter skiing trip for the first time with our children aged 5 and 9 and Apartment Eloise came highly recommended. We travelled to Geneva airport from Manchester - a relatively short hop - and booked the hour-long mini-bus transfer, which had been suggested by the owners of Apartment Eloise, making the whole trip hassle-free.

This is a newly-renovated chalet, which has been refurbished to a high standard but is also warm and welcoming. The view out of the living room window, framing the mountains and scenary is fabulous! The apartment is spacious and airy and, although there were 7 of us staying, we never felt like there wasn't enough room. The hot tub is the perfect place to sit and relax after a hard day's skiing & just soak up the views. The ski cave made it easy to store our kit. There were lots of little additions to make us feel at home, including wifi, fluffy bathrobes, an ipod dock & incredibly comfortable beds & pillows!!

The bus-stops for the free bus service are one minute's walk away - just far enough when you have ski equipment to carry - and will take you to the lift to the slopes of Avoriaz or into Morzine town centre in a matter of minutes. With 2 young children in tow we were keen for getting about without a car to be as easy as possible and Apartment Eloise ticks all of the boxes.

Although the snow in Morzine had melted, there was plenty of it in Avoriaz and we had a great time negotiating the vast range of slopes. There is plenty of scope for all abilities and instructors in ski school were excellent.

Lovely chalet. Highly recommended - give it a try!
