10 days in Pyla
We were delighted with our stay in this charming apartment! As two adults we booked 10 days in July and had a wonderful time in the area around Pyla and Arcachon. The apartment is tastefully appointed and well equipped with all essentials. The bed is firm and very comfortable; the shower has excellent water pressure; and TV and wifi functioned well. We stayed during a heatwave, so the sleek, portable fan was a necessary and effective addition. We were also able to keep the sun out during the day using the roll-down shutters, or a parasol on the great veranda – a lovely place for breakfast and evening meals. The apartment is wonderfully quiet too.
We highly recommend hiring bikes locally to explore the beautiful area. The cycling path is on the doorstep, as is a handy bus to town. Needless to say, the beaches are particularly impressive.
Our host was charming, accommodating and easy to deal with. Everything was as exactly as described and practical matters were dealt with smoothly and competently. We highly recommend this lovely spot for a holiday, and will definitely use this apartment again ourselves.
