A beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse apartment with FREE parking and WiFi

A gorgeous, very spacious penthouse apartment sleeping 6, with three bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms on the top (5th) floor of a modern building which benefits from a lift and FREE private & secure off-street parking.

The apartment has a huge open-plan lounge, kitchen & dining area, plus two sunny balconies with panoramic views across Edinburgh's rooftops. The lounge has comfortable seating and a TV, the dining area seats six and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a washing machine and dryer. There's also a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, etc.

There are three bedrooms, sleeping six in total:

Bedroom 1 - King sized bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with both bath and separate shower, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and access onto a sunny balcony with bistro table and chairs.

Bedroom 2 - King sized bed, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and an en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 3 - A cosy room with a small double bed (120cm), its own shower room (not en-suite) and access to a sunny balcony, with bistro table & chairs.

All bedlinen and towels are provided. All bedrooms have hairdryers. Free WiFI is also available.

The apartment is very centrally located on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town, a short walk from the city centre and all its attractions. The bustle of Leith Walk is at the top of the street (5 minutes walk) and the Playhouse Theatre, St James Shopping Centre and Princes Street (Edinburgh's main shopping street) are less than 15 minutes walk.

Leith Walk provides bus links to most parts of Edinburgh. Waverley Railway Station and St Andrews Bus Station are both less than 20 minutes walk away.

There are two small supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the flat and Broughton Street, with its eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars is an easy 10 minute walk.

This is a stunning Penthouse apartment as it says in the headline. We didn't take our car so can't comment on the free parking but we're sure it's there. Fiona was very welcoming giving us a quick and informative tour of the apartment and the offer of more help if we wanted it at any time. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The only argument was which of our kids had the double bedroom with the en-suite and which had to walk a few yards down the hall. Honestly, they don't know how lucky they are as we all had a very spacious bathroom to ourselves for the entire stay.

All the facilities were of high standard and sofas, seats and beds (all the essentials) very comfortable. We were all intrigued by the 'Fat Boy' bean bag (with the bright red flower in the picture) and our kids ended up spending most of their time on this when we were in. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes only a few minutes walk away from the apartment and Fiona or the house guide will be able to make some recommendations. We enjoyed I (heart) cafe and Pomegranate but ventured further afield to try the Tower and The Pompadour by Galvin for this special birthday weekend. A few more minutes walk and you're in the heart of Edinburgh so the apartment is very well located. Just in case you wonder what the large building opposite the apartment is if you look at the panorama view it's a bus garage and we had absolutely no noise problems at all. It was winter and we kept the windows closed but we don't think it would be a problem even in the height of summer. No place is ever perfect, particularly when you like your home comforts as we do, but this apartment is as close as you're ever likely to find. If it's available when you want to go to Edinburgh don't hesitate to book it.

We Loved This Place

We all walked in, saw the view, dropped our bags and said 'wow, look at that view'. Thereafter, we gravitated to the terrace each morning and night to make the most of it. For three couples this apartment was simply perfect. Spacious, gorgeous, colourful and well equipped. The attention to detail was impressive. Quality fittings and linen all around. We all want to return. On the last morning I was up at 6am, on the terrace, coffee in hand, watching the city come to life. This is my kind of place. Thank you Fiona and family for creating a special environment to share.

Very nice accommodations for five or six. Extremely comfortable with excellent city views.

Fiona is great to work with and supportive of her guests. Everything was perfect for our stay. The apartment is lovely. We hope to get back to Scotland on day and would love to return to this home when we do.

An amazing apartment, perfectly situated.

The apartment exceeded our expectations. We had a great weekend, despite Scottish weather! We could see a lot of thought had gone into every little detail, including arriving to homemade cookies and a cup of tea, just what was needed after a long journey! Thank you Fiona for being so thoughtful. We'll definitely be back!

Everything we had hoped for and more.

We are two retired couples who visited Edinburgh with the intention of traveling one day to the British Open, one day to golf at a course in St. Andrews and other days to visit area historical sites. We used Edinburgh as our home base and couldn't have been more pleased with Fiona's accomodations. The apartment is spotless, comfortable and incredibly well equipped. The location is near to major streets for shopping, visiting historical attractions and dining. There are numerous small, locally owned restaurants within walking distance. Fiona is a charming, responsive person who helped make our stay a vacation to remember with fondness.

Great apartment

Fiona's penthouse apartment was in pristine condition when we arrived. It is charmingly decorated. It suited my family perfectly since it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with 2 en suite. We put 2 small children in one and the 2 couples in the en suites. The living room area and dining area had comfortable furniture and space for all of us. The bedrooms were also comfortable with adequate room. The kitchen and baths were updated and in good working order. We loved the location as restaurants and buses are within walking distance. Tesco markets are nearby where we found very good microwaveable meals along with groceries. The off street parking was conveniently located beneath the building. I particularly appreciated the elevator and the single floor layout. The apartment was as advertised and better than the photos. We spent a wonderful time in Edinburgh, in part due to comfortable accommodations to return to each night. Fiona was a delightful host and responsive to any questions. We would definitely stay there again. Yes, we recommend this property. I hope we get the opportunity to revisit beautiful Edinburgh and stay at Fiona's penthouse.

I live nearby and love the area. It's so close to the city centre with all its attractions and all my favorite shops and cafes are nearby.
