A beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom penthouse apartment with FREE parking and WiFi

A gorgeous, very spacious penthouse apartment sleeping 6, with three bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms on the top (5th) floor of a modern building which benefits from a lift and FREE private & secure off-street parking.

The apartment has a huge open-plan lounge, kitchen & dining area, plus two sunny balconies with panoramic views across Edinburgh's rooftops. The lounge has comfortable seating and a TV, the dining area seats six and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a washing machine and dryer. There's also a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, etc.

There are three bedrooms, sleeping six in total:

Bedroom 1 - King sized bed, TV, en-suite bathroom with both bath and separate shower, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and access onto a sunny balcony with bistro table and chairs.

Bedroom 2 - King sized bed, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for storage and an en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 3 - A cosy room with a small double bed (120cm), its own shower room (not en-suite) and access to a sunny balcony, with bistro table & chairs.

All bedlinen and towels are provided. All bedrooms have hairdryers. Free WiFI is also available.

The apartment is very centrally located on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town, a short walk from the city centre and all its attractions. The bustle of Leith Walk is at the top of the street (5 minutes walk) and the Playhouse Theatre, St James Shopping Centre and Princes Street (Edinburgh's main shopping street) are less than 15 minutes walk.

Leith Walk provides bus links to most parts of Edinburgh. Waverley Railway Station and St Andrews Bus Station are both less than 20 minutes walk away.

There are two small supermarkets within a 5 minute walk of the flat and Broughton Street, with its eclectic mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars is an easy 10 minute walk.

I am a working mother living in Edinburgh! I grew up in Aberdeen in Scotland and have since lived and travelled in Azerbaijan, Australia and Finland. I've now been back in Scotland and in this fantastic city for just over 3 years, and I can really say that Edinburgh feels like our home.

There are so many hidden places to discover in (and around) Edinburgh, it constantly surprises me even after years of living here.

I live nearby and love the area. It's so close to the city centre with all its attractions and all my favorite shops and cafes are nearby.

What makes this apartment unique

Ideal for larger families or small groups, I love the space in this apartment. It's huge, bright and sunny and has great views across Edinburgh's rooftops.

This is a stunning Penthouse apartment as it says in the headline. We didn't take our car so can't comment on the free parking but we're sure it's there. Fiona was very welcoming giving us a quick and informative tour of the apartment and the offer of more help if we wanted it at any time. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The only argument was which of our kids had the double bedroom with the en-suite and which had to walk a few yards down the hall. Honestly, they don't know how lucky they are as we all had a very spacious bathroom to ourselves for the entire stay.

All the facilities were of high standard and sofas, seats and beds (all the essentials) very comfortable. We were all intrigued by the 'Fat Boy' bean bag (with the bright red flower in the picture) and our kids ended up spending most of their time on this when we were in. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes only a few minutes walk away from the apartment and Fiona or the house guide will be able to make some recommendations. We enjoyed I (heart) cafe and Pomegranate but ventured further afield to try the Tower and The Pompadour by Galvin for this special birthday weekend. A few more minutes walk and you're in the heart of Edinburgh so the apartment is very well located. Just in case you wonder what the large building opposite the apartment is if you look at the panorama view it's a bus garage and we had absolutely no noise problems at all. It was winter and we kept the windows closed but we don't think it would be a problem even in the height of summer. No place is ever perfect, particularly when you like your home comforts as we do, but this apartment is as close as you're ever likely to find. If it's available when you want to go to Edinburgh don't hesitate to book it.

Great place in a great location. Convenient to all of the locations we were interested in seeing. The apartment was outfitted perfectly...all the comforts of home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Cute place!

Fiona was a great hostess. She had so much information ready for us and let us store our luggage there even though we arrived hours early before our actual check in time. We were there during the Tatoo, Fringe Fest and International Fest.... the city was crowded!! It was nice to have a quiet oasis to go to at the end of the day. We had the bonus of watching the fireworks from the balcony!! We walked to Old Town everyday, it was not to far at all. The apartment was clean with cute modern decor. The floors are squeaky, but that is just looking for something to "complain" about. I would recommend staying here!

Great apartment in safe area

Fiona's apartment is an oasis in the city. The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom apartment was ideal for our party of 5 adults. The kitchen is very well equipped with both appliances and needed dishes etc. Everything you would need in an apartment is provided by Fiona. She provided several sets of keys displayed in a most whimsical way! Fiona's response time to inquires is very fast. She is very accommodating with requests also. It was nice to stay with locals and not be in the middle of the "tourist zone" although the walk to most attractions is not far. Taxis are inexpensive. There are several local stores for supplies. We highly recommend this apartment while staying in Edinburgh. You won't be disappointed.

Super clean and spacious flat with free and secure parking. Lovely walk to everything in the city.

Our family of five loved this flat! Fiona's precise instructions (and easy communication) made everything easy and quick, and we appreciated it greatly after our long journey. Edinburgh is an incredible city and it was nice to stay so close to everything, yet not right in the middle of all the action. Our boys loved the spaciousness of the flat, they could all go to their rooms to relax after a long day of sight seeing. We definitely look forward to staying here again when we return to Edinburgh.
