Lovely stay with the family

We had an amazing experience at Maison Laetitia. We spent 4 weeks and loved it since it is an authentic Provencal experience. The house is even nicer than the pictures and has a super nice decoration.

We enjoyed the different areas to have lunch dinner and breakfast and as well to chill.

Since our stay was long we had Nadine, the house cleaning lady, visit us twice a week and she is absolutely recommendable.

Thank you Sallie and Jamie for your hospitality and for making us feel at home even before arriving.

Delivers on all the promises

We were not at all disappointed. This property fully lives up to the promise of the pictures and reviews. Quintessentially French , lots of ambience, chic, and (importantly) pleasantly cool in 35 degrees of perpetual sunshine

The village is quite large with many restaurants and good shops and facilities. It is a real village, and not a tourist honey trap .

We consider ourselves very lucky to have uncovered this gem.

Beautifully restored grand 18th Century town house

A wonderful base for visiting Arles and the Alpilles. The house is secluded but set in the heart of a charming town with excellent local provisions easily available, good small restaurants and even an artistic cinema! A lavender strewn wedding was in progress in the square as we arrived that set the tone. The house and rooftop terrace were a delightful, cool retreat at the end of each day. The number and variety of comfortable sitting and bedrooms made for a most relaxed holiday.

Beautiful, charming home

Absolutely beautiful old house in a charming village well located for day trips to many places, such as Arles, St Remy, and Avignon. It is beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating and beds. There is a modern and well equipped kitchen, with a table and chairs, as well as a dining room with a larger table. Living room is large, with high ceilings and comfortable seating. There are four "en suite" bathrooms, although only two of those has a stand up shower. The fourth floor bathroom is very small and cramped with a tiny shower. There is no restroom on main floor. The staircase is a beautiful, very steep, typically French spiral-style, going up three stories. However, the doors to two of the bedrooms open up right into the middle of the spiral, with no landing. The steepness of the staircase and the placement of the doors to those two bedrooms should be noted by anyone who has any sort of mobility issue or young children. There were no smoke alarms or sprinklers in the house, of particular concern in a very old four story house. There was no parking other than what one could find on the very narrow streets--sometimes several blocks away. The washer-dryer advertised was accessible only through a trap door on the floor of one of the terraces. Both terraces were were lovely, however, and we had a wonderful visit!

Centrally Located to many attractions in Provence

This house is lovely. It is tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are very nice, and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a nice living room, and two terraces. Our only criticism is that the washer and dryer are located outside the home in a dark basement that is accessed through a heavy door on the back terrace. We wished we had known that ahead of time as we had counted on being able to wash our clothes easily.

Great Experience and Holiday

The setting of this house is beautiful and the location is in the central Fontvieille area close to many site seeing opportunities and restaurants. This makes this location a perfect vacation spot. The house is wonderful and has just what you would expect to find. It was a delight to enjoy lunch on the terrace, having dinner in the dining room or relaxing in the living room. The house is tastefully decorated and has what you need. We feel as if we not only had a wonderful experience at this mansion and location but also have gained new friends. We hope to return someday.

I had always stayed here in the past when it was a hotel and the chance to buy it came along just as I had sold a previous property in the nearby village of Paradou. It has been a labour of love and now it is a tranquil home form home for me and my family who live in London.
