The house, with an area of approximately 130m2, is composed of a large living-dining room, a fully equipped independent kitchen with dishwasher, large gas stove, fridge freezer, directly overlooking the ideal awning for meals in fine weather, a back kitchen with a washing machine, a dryer and shelves, 4 bedrooms, two for parents and two for children, 3 bathrooms , one with bath, the other 2 with shower.
You can get away on foot or by bike on the numerous cycle paths and go to discover a multitude of very varied beaches as well as take walks in the salt marshes. Take full advantage of the delightful village of Portes where its market is held every day of the summer and during school holidays, or, 2 to 3 times a week in low season. It is also possible to go to the village of Ars by bike through the marshes (20mn) and reach its very famous holiday market.
In less than 10 minutes, you can reach the nautical club for sailing, drop off your children at the Mickey club, go fishing for spinnaker or sand lance, take surf lessons on the large Conche beach, enjoy a golf course along the arm of the Le Fier, playing tennis at the Portingalais Club, indulging in kyte-surfing on the beaches for the more experienced, riding a horse at the equestrian club and galloping on the beach, leaving directly from the house for jogging through an undergrowth leading directly to the sea.
All these activities being accessible by bike or on foot will allow you to completely forget your car during the holidays!
Ile de Ré is known for its lovely villages; some have a port where it is very pleasant to have lunch or dinner in gourmet restaurants.
Near this island, it is possible to visit the beautiful aquarium of La Rochelle, to go to the Puy du Foû park with its extraordinary night show at around 1:30 am, or to go for a boat ride in the very famous Marais Poitevin.
