This city is also full of surprises for you younger visitors. Barcelona has a magic mountain: Tibidabo. You can take your parents to the Tibidabo Amusement Parkwhere you can ride the merry-go-round, and see a puppet show. Se other water and Theme parks in Barcelona and Catalonia

At the zoo is one of the best in Europe, guaranteed to excite kids of all ages. It even holds dolphin show! But one of the places where you can see the most fish is L'Aquàrium. You can walk through a tunnel under the water and see sharks and fish of all shapes and sizes. Don´t miss it!

Restaurants / Bars

If this is one of your first visits to Barcelona, you will never go wring with a stroll around the old quarter (Barri Gotic). Theres is a perfect little cafe virtually on every corner. Go look and you will find. This is in our experience the best way to get the feel for Barcolona. If you prefer planning ahead; the Timeout guide is a good place to start.

Music

The city hosts a number of renowned music festivals devoted to jazz, flamenco, classical and contemporary music. The city also has two classical music venues with a high-quality programme of events: the Palau de la Música and L'Auditori. In addition, the opera house, the Gran Teatre del Liceu, hosts one of Europe's most prestigious opera seasons.

Museums

The city has over 50 museums (and 300 in Catalonia), showcasing permanent collections of works by artists such as Picasso, Joan Miró and Antoni Tàpies. At the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) you can see one of the world's most important collections of Romanesque art. It also has famous collections of contemporary art housed in museums such as the Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) and CaixaForum. Most museums stage temporary exhibitions.

Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926)

Architect and designer: Antoni Gaudi was at the forefront of the Art Nouveau movement in Spain. While working in Barcelona he created some of the city's most notable and extraordinary landmarks. This kind of architectural genius is rare, and his work is guaranteed move you. He was a pioneer in his field using color, texture, and movement in ways never before imagined. All of is works, the ones he finished himself, as well as the uncompleted (La Sagrada Familia) stands as testimony to his genius. We recommend in particular the Parque Güell on the hill of el Carmel 10 on the outskirts of the city. The astonishing architecture can be seen and experienced, it is almost like a Gaudi theme park for the entire, as well as one of the most remarkable architectural achievements in recent European history.

Clubbing

The night-life in Barcelona is infamous -and not without reason. There is hardly any place in Europe with a nightlife anything like this. Whether you want to dance all night to the latest music with the teenagers and 20-somethings, or enjoy a quiet drink in pitoresque settings. Go to a concert. Etc. Etc. Barcelona is your city. The posibilities are too numerous to mention.
