Casa Chargall is certainly a unique holiday home, with everything the heart could ask for. Children and adults will love this luxury accommodation and the location also offers a wide variety of activities for all ages.

This stunning holiday home dates back from 1733 and is build in the middle of the beautiful Vall de Juïgues valley. Since then, the house has undergone numerous renovations; the most recent in 2003 when it was decided to change Casa Chargall into a unique holiday home.

Moreover, the architect put great emphasis on creating a house with a unique outdoor area with many small areas of activity and opportunity for relaxation. Eg. there is a beautiful back garden with a petanque lane and a small covered terrace. Somewhere else in the garden is a small area with a small playground for the group's smallest guests (and there are approved case base), football field behind the house is an area with a gigantic aviary world with beautiful birds.

The property offers the following facilities: Covered swimming pool with a small jacuzzi (pool is in the air in the summer), with changing rooms and shower / toilet, petanque lane, mini-basketball court, a small football field, a barbecue and a wood-fired outdoor oven outdoor kitchen and a large covered hall near the BBQ area, a Games room with table tennis, table football and billiards table, children's playground, and finally, digital satellite TV.

Casa Chargall is divided into two large and connected living areas, of which the one in the ground floor offers wheelchair access and consists of a spacious hall, large living-dining room with cutlery, crockery, fireplace and digital satellite television. Alongside the dining room is the kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, vitroceramic hob, oven, microwave and all necessary kitchen utensils.

As far as sleeping arrangements are concerned, the flat offers five spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Each room has been given the name of a plant: El Pi (pine) and l'Alzina (Holm oak) are triple rooms, el Lledoner (nettle tree) and la Magnòlia (magnolia) feature a double bed and el Roure (oak) is a twin room. All rooms are equipped with the required bedlinen.

The top floor offers four bedrooms, these four bedrooms have also received the names of plants: L'Olivera (olive tree) and el Cirerer (cherry tree) are double rooms, whilst la Noguera (walnut tree) and la Morera (mulberry tree) are twin rooms. Along the corridor are two very spacious bathrooms.

One of the highlights of Casa Chargall is the wide range of facilities, all designed to ensure the guests an enjoyable stay. Furthermore, the architect has ensured a great importance on removing architectural barriers in the entire Casa Chargall´s complex and its grounds.

Trip to Barcelona or rent a holiday apartment before or after

During your stay in Catalonia, it is obvious to make a trip to the metropolis Barcelona. It takes from most houses only 1-1½ hours to drive in to the Catalan capitol know for Gaudi, Miró, The Ramblas, the Gothic neighbourhood, F.C. Barcelona, the beach and many other things. The previous summers, many of our guests have chosen to rent a holiday apartment in Barcelona before our after their stay in the beautiful Catalan countryside.

Refundable Damage Deposit £252.66
Stay tax £0.42 per night, per person. This amount will be due to the manager upon arrival. Does not apply to children under 16 years.

The price includes: VAT, use of electricity, heating, water, bed-linen, towels (1 for bath and 1 for hands p/ person) and cleaning at departure.

The price does not include: Catalan tourist tax: € 0,5/adult (+16) per night.

PLEASE NOTE: At Catalan holidays in low- and medium season supplements may apply. Please consult us.

Deposit: When booking the property, a deposit equal to 40% must be paid within 8 days to secure the booking. By cancellation more than 2 months before arrival, half of the deposit will be refunded. By cancellation less than 2 months before arrival, the deposit is not refunded.

Remaining payment: The remaining amount is to be paid to the property-owner when you arrive.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
