It is situated in the exclusive Cabo Roig with its beautiful marina and number of blue flag beaches. Cabo Roig 'Strip' offers over 50 bars and restaurants all within a few minutes walk.

The main town of Torrevieja is a 15mns drive away and every evening you will find small market stalls along the front. A water park and go-kart track are a short drive. There are 3 local superb golf courses at Villamartin, Las Ramblas, and Royal Campoamor with its newly built sports complex and these are within a short drive. Costa Blanca is fast becoming a great place to come for family entertainment and to play golf with over twenty five courses.

Nice apartment, double bedroom has a good view and balcony, living room has a nice balcony, the flat has a superb private space on the roof, BBQ etc perfect, very happy. The place is looked after very well, clean, towels, everything you would need. Will book next year. You are right in the center and only 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Nice Resort / Great Apartment

The apartment is in a fantastic location on a small development with friendly english reception staff, located right in the middle of the cabo roig strip but without the noise. Very clean and well presented with english tv.The resort is graet and will appeal to all ages and has every type of bar and restaurant on your doorstep. Pool area great with small poolside bar and beaches are fab especially cala capitan. Dont need car but would recommend as there loads to see and do in surrounding areas, and parking easy round back. Recommend Puccinis, Bar Med at back of block for food and Rigbys for lunch time baguettes etc.

Will book again.

Great value

Sleeps 4 EASILY with 2 double bedrooms. Convenient location although a little noisy one night. Staff very helpful. Could do with sunbeds on roof terrace was only complaint. I would certainly use again.

Property was reasonably clean.There was no double bed as was shown in the print out.All the patio furniture was broken.The solarium looked like a scrap yard for broken and disregarded plastic furniture.Nowhere to sit outside or sunbathe.We would like to thank the staff of Playamarina 2 who came to our rescue and provided us with a table, chairs and 2 sunbeds.The kitchen was very poorly equipped a shortage of large spoons and cereal bowls, cups chipped and the rest were made of plastic,and it really could do with a microwave oven.People renting in these apartments should be made aware of the noise levels .There are 3 night clubs in close proximity.These do not close until 04.00am.

Owner's Response: Playamarina have always kept the apartments very clean and tidy and are always there to help if residents are not happy. The solarium can only be left as clean and tidy as the last guest who uses it, I have tried many ways to stop the furniture being destroyed. There are 4 beds in the apartment, a double bed, two singles and one double sofa bed. Plastic utensils would always be prefered because china is always broken and never lasts. In Spain the food is very fresh and healthy, a microwave should never be used. And yes this area is not a quiet area, but the Spainsh staying up till 4am, is their way of life. No one has ever complained about the place and have always enjoyed their stay, I think the flat and area simply did not suit.

The apartment was spacious enough for two or four people and located in a central area on the main strip. The reception staff were helpful and friendly and so were the bar staff in the connecting restaurant/bar. There is plenty to do locally (bars and restaurants) and the beach is about 10 - 15 minutes walk away and is worth the trip, the sea is lovely to swim in. Although there were a couple of little bits that need looking at in the apartment (a previous tenant had broken a couple of the patio chairs and the shower head worked but could do with a bit of attention) overall we loved the apartment (especially the roof terrace) and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. There is quite a lot of work going on in Cabo Roig at the moment and they were digging up the road outside the apartment when we visited (13 - 20 June) but the shutters on the windows meant that this did not wake us up in the morning and we definitely mean to go back to the resort in a year or two to see how much it has changed. We didn't hire a car as we just wanted to relax for a week, and the only downside to this was that the nearest major supermarket was 20-30 minutes walk away although there are smaller supermarkets very nearby. The cliff walks and scenery along the sea front is well worth a visit too!

Last Minute Deal

We had to book this the day before we were due to fly and had never been to Cabo Roig before, Paul the owner was very helpful before we went and very accommodating..

The apartment was really nice and clean, you could cook meals etc as there is everything you need, including a washer, iron etc. There is no satellite TV so brush up on your spanish if you want to stay in and watch TV. Although the apartment was very clean the balconies had old lilos that the cleaner must have left and there were some cans etc on the roof terrace but other than that it was spot on and we had a lovely stay. We sunbathed on the roof terrace for most of the days and it was lovely and relaxing with a bottle of wine and a book. The pool is small but nice and the reception staff are English and they cannot do enough for you.

There are loads of bars and retaurants on your doorstep but you dont hear any rowdiness. We enjoyed Flannigans Irish bar, Havanna, Asia Restaurant and the Italian restaurant just underneath where we stayed.

I would definitely go back again
