Our chalet “Altitude 1600” is located on the ski slopes of the world class 4 Valleys resort in Nendaz. Enjoy this spacious and modern furnished 400 m2 chalet for 12+ people with breathtaking valley and mountain views, or take advantage of our private hot tub, steam room or gas BBQ grill. Starting on July 2015 , the chalet is also suitable for corporate seminars (please contact us for prices).

For your best comfort, the Chalet by a recognized local luxury chalet operator experienced in serving families, group of friends and corporate clients. The team is having many years of experience in the tourism industry and for the last 3 years has made Haute-Nendaz their home.

Our weekly rates our based on a changeover (Check-in and Check-out) day on Saturdays. Of course we are always open to other arrangements, according to availability.


The upper floor master bedrooms feature a 3 King size and one Queen size pillow top bed with dual side custom made wooden tables and directional reading LED lamps. Each bed is covered in high quality Italian cotton Frette bedlinen. These bedrooms have solid oak floorings and up to an unusual 4m high ceiling. From each bedroom window, you can enjoy the view on skiers and travelers as well as beautiful morning sunlight on snowy mountain tops across the Rhone valley. Before going to sleep, relax or entertain yourself with your personal private flat screen HDTV with cable TV to access multiple channels in various languages such as French, English, German or Italian.

3 of the master bedroom enjoy en-suite bathrooms with custom full-size stand up showers, Molton Brown toiletries, fluffy towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer. The last bathroom is not en-suite, but enjoys all the advantages of the other bathrooms and also has a bathtub with a custom shower integrated. All the showers have waterfall shower heads combined with a stylish integrated movable shower head to comply with everyone’s convenience.


On the lower floor there are 3 extra bedrooms. Two of them are large with the beds that can be organized either as 2 double beds or as a pillow top King size bed in bedroom 5 or pillow top Queen size bed in bedroom 6 bed with dual side custom-made wooden tables and directional reading LED lamps. The last bedroom number 7 has 4 custom-made oak bunk beds which can accommodate adults as well as children, who can easily read their favourite books with the integrated reading lights in each bed. Each of the 3 bedroom enjoy high quality Frette bedlinen, an HDTV, a small custom sized desk and Ethernet internet connection (extra to the existing Wifi network) and all 3 have a window with a view on the mountains. You can also find two bathrooms which each have a custom-sized full stand-up Duscholux shower (with waterfall shower heads combined with a discrete & stylish integrated movable shower head), Molton Brown toiletries and a hairdryer. . And to avoid unnecessary bathroom queuing, we've kept two toilets separate ;).


After a long day skiing or walking with snow shoes or along the numerous “Bisses” of the region, unwind in front of our Flat Screen TV r sip a glass of wine on the terrace. If you prefer to stay indoors, take in the views from the set of 2.5m windows and relax in front of the log fire. Read a book or check your email with free Wireless Internet from the comfort of the sofas


The kitchen, dining room and the living room are all available in one open space so that everyone can enjoy each other and people in the kitchen do not miss out on the action ;). The semi-professional kitchen is equipped with everything you need and organized so it helps you enjoy your stay as much as possible. All major equipment come from the highly esteemed manufactures Bosch and the kitchen is fitted with high quality materials such as large granite tops.

In addition to having a more than 32 wine glasses, glasses, plates, silver knives, forks, spoons... we have provided appliances to accommodate the needs of larger groups: 2 fridges (with integrated freezers), 2 dishwashers (very very and again very useful!) and 2 sets of induction (electric-magnetic) cooking hobs.

The kitchen is also full other utensils and appliances to suit most of your needs: a Nespresso machine, a coffee machine, a toaster, a water boiler, , a microwave, an oven, a steam oven, Raclette machines, fondue sets, and any other little gadgets you need to cook.

In the dining room, you’ll find an impressive custom-made large almost chateau size oak table which can very comfortably fit 16 people around it. From which you have a incredible view on the Alps from numerous tall bay windows.

For all the music lovers out there, both the kitchen and the living room are fitted with an integrated sound system with an audio jack to which you can plug in most of any known electronic devices: computers, tablets, smartphones or even CD players.

From the dining room and the Kitchen, you have access to the 140 m2 terrace. We’ve provided a premium Koenig gas grill for one simple reason: easy use all year round; which is especially amazing in winter :).


Our outdoor Jacuzzi is excellent to relax after a long day of sports or walks. Situated under the terrace, it can be used by almost any weather conditions.

For the healthy friends, we have also fitted the chalet with a steam room. Steam room benefits include the quickest way to detoxify (as a steam bath helps reduce up to 30% of toxins built up in the body) and it gives a boost to the immune system. Just outside the steam room you’ll find a set of towels waiting for you and also a sound system where you can plug-in your IPod, IPhone or other music player to your favorite music while relaxing in the steam room.


Imagine after a long day of sports, everyone coming back at the chalet at the same time. That means 16 pairs of skis/snowboards or snowshoes, 16 pairs of boots, 16 pairs of gloves, 16 winter coats, 16 hats, 16…. You get my point: a lot of stuff! From our successful experience in our own chalet, we’ve organized the entrance hall with everything you need to store everything nice and tidy and easy to find: 2 ski racks to store the skis, 3 large shelves for the boots. For each guest in the house, there’s a little shelve for normal shoes and a basket with a number for hats, goggles, gloves or whatever else you need but you will not lose elsewhere in the chalet :).

We've actually been coming to Nendaz to ski our whole life and have actually started living there with our own chalet where we invite family and friends every year and all year round. We've loved the experience so much that we've decided to build a large upmarket chalet for others to enjoy. Finding a spot directly on the ski slopes to build our property was just the cherry on the cake and hope a lot of travelers will enjoy Nendaz as much as we do.

What makes this chalet unique

The chalet is located in a calm location, situated at the top of the Nendaz resort and just on the ski slope The 180° view on the Rhone Valley, the ski slope and the mountains across is just simply amazing! And you can enjoy from the terrace, the jacuzzi, the dining room, the living room and every bedroom in the chalet! And there's nothing better to relax: fresh air from living at 1600m, a jacuzzi and a hammam to relax these muscles after sport. And there's nothing better to finish the day with a hot chocolate or a tea next to the log fire with a book or sharing your day stories with your friends and family. And we've thought of everything for you to enjoy the chalet even as a large group: 2 fridges, 2 dishwashers and induction stove for quick cooking are an example. And a gas BBQ for all-year round grilling ! (yes even when it's -15°C in the evening ;) )

The chalet is really in an ideal position, as far as skiing and mountains view is concerned. In the chalet nothing is missing. Ideal for families, for groups of friends also for some good team building among colleagues.

The assistance received during arrival, staying and departure is also top!

Beautiful setting, confortable layout, top service

I really enjoyed my week long vacation. The setting is really beautiful and I had easy access by foot to a dozen of different hiking trails. I was happy to find all the amenities described on the website as well as the location and layout. The property was clean and well maintained and the service was friendly. I will definately recommend this chalet to my friends.

An unforgettable experience

The house was clean, modern, roomy, relaxing and with fantastic views. It proved a superb base for exhilarating Mountain hikes and beautiful bike rides through Sion and along the Rhone. The neighbours were charming. Our best hike was up around Lac des Dix towards Mont Collon where we were able to see the Alpine Ibexes. All in all I can’t wait to return!

Les Clèves – Exclusive chalet area

The chalet ‘Altitude 1600’ is located in the ‘Les Clèves’ exclusive area directly on the 'Jean-Pierre' ski slope at the top of Haute-Nendaz. At 1600m high and at the top of the resort means more and longer lasting snow than in the most of the village accommodations. By going to ‘Les Clèves’ area, you’ll also be escaping the large apartment settlements of the village to enjoy a unique area of typical and modern ski chalets. Additionally the chalet is close to the newly opened restaurant ‘Bistro les Clèves’, where local food meets Scandinavian influences and the highly animated Ski Bar ‘Le Bob’ where you can stop by after a skiing or a snow shoe walk to take some refreshments or a little aperitif before walking back to the chalet ;).

In summer, you can enjoy direct access to the chalet by car with 5 parking spots available at the chalet.

Here’s how it’s organized for winter season:

Chalet Altitude 1600 is located directly on the ski slope. Located at 1600m, in winter with snow and the ski slope it is not directly accessible by car. So to help you effortlessly move your luggage through the snow, we’ve organized a local chauffeur service in a Polaris snow machine with our chalet operator.

What does this mean? Well, when you arrive in Nendaz, you can park at the Parking 'Les Clèves', where there are up to 5 reserved parking spots waiting just for you: no other chalet has that many parking spots in the area! That’s how much we care in offering you a great service :). The parking 'Les Clèves' on the ski slopes and the chalet are only 10 min walk away from each other (Tip: if you just need a small thing in the car, you can access the car with your skis, and then drop it off at the chalet the next time you go down the ski slope ;)). It’s downhill walk from the and uphill walk from the parking.

1) From the parking ‘Les Clèves`, you'll be transported in a Polaris upon arrival to the Chalet Altitude 1600.

2) Also included in the given winter rates, you can arrange 3 transport trips per week of stay (for shopping for example) from/to the chalet to/from the parking.

3) Upon departure at the end of your stay, you'll be transported back to the parking with your luggage.

All of the transportation trips described above are included in the weekly rates. Should you need more transportation trips than those described, you can always organize extra trips for a small fee with the chalet operator during your stay :)


Situated in the Valais, at the heart of the Swiss Alps, just south of the town of Sion, Nendaz encompasses 16 small mountain villages, for a total of around 5'500 inhabitants.

At the center of the 4 Valleys ski area, one of the world's largest ski areas, with 412 km of slopes and 92 lifts, Nendaz offers fantastic ski and mountaineering opportunities, as well as breathtaking views of the Rhône valley and of the highest summits in the Alps, such as the Matterhorn (4478 m) and the Mont-Blanc (4808 m) from the Mont-Fort.

The ski resort of Haute-Nendaz is located on a plateau at an altitude of 1400m. Located in the sunniest region of Switzerland, Nendaz enjoys a great climate, providing for fabulous snow in the winter season and for very pleasant summers.

Access by car:

Nendaz can be reached by motorway via Sion (15km). Exit Sion-Ouest towards Nendaz, it takes about 15 min to reach Nendaz.

Caution! We recommend that you follow the main road from the A9 motorway exit to Nendaz and not to follow the GPS instructions for the shortest route! As it will indicate the shortest route which might take you through very narrow and steep roads, which is especially not advisable during winter.

By plane

Geneva airport is the closest major international airport and about 1.45 h away from Nendaz. Carhire's are easily accessible in the airport, early booking is recommended in winter.

Upon request, we will organize your transfer between Haute-Nendaz and any Swiss city or airport using a private luxury minibus service. Contact us for rates.
