Large Centre City 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, 2nd Floor Apartment

The apartment is on the second floor of a modern apartment block that has retained the original Victorian façade at the front. There are two bedrooms, each with high ceilings and a large Victorian sash window overlooking Gardiner St Upper and the Jesuit church garden across the street. There are two single beds in one room and a large bunk bed to sleep two people in the other room. There is a separate bathroom with a bath and shower and electric shaver light. There is a large living room which is south facing with patio doors onto a small balcony, where it is possible to smoke, overlooking an inner courtyard. It has two single fold up beds, a suite of furniture and a dining room table and four chairs. There is cable TV and WiFi in the apartment. There is a separate large kitchen with breakfast table to seat two persons. The kitchen has a fridge, four ring ceramic electric hob, large oven and a washing machine which operates as a dryer also. There is also a microwave oven, toaster and coffee plunger along with cutlery, plates, cups, etc. The bus from the airport, stops on Dorset St Lower about 100 metres from the apartment. The trip takes about 20 mins from the airport. It is a fifteen minute walk from the apartment to the main shopping areas of O'Connel St and Henry St. with many restaurants, and museums to visit. Trinity College is an easy 30 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is an ideal base from which to explore the city and surrounding area. You could rent a bicycle from Dublin Bikes as they have a base just across the street, offering an alternative way of exploring Dublin city's rich attractions.

Great place to stay

Really comfortable apartment which is within very easy distance of the centre. Very clean and well equipped. Emailed Patrick and always got quick reply. Randy was polite and helpful, we were allowed to drop our bags early after arriving so we didn't have to lug them around town. Would highly recommend staying here.

Clean

The flat was as described. I wouldn't choose this location again. The bedrooms are on the street and the street is very noisy. The apartment is surrounded by many buildings that are in need of repair. Garbage was littered on the street as well. Randy was the highlight. He checked us in, showed us how everything worked, and were we had an issue with the shower he came right over.

exceptional deal in central Dublin

This is a really good deal in a central location, a clean, comfortable, well-presented two-bedroom flat in a development with parking behind a Georgian façade not far from Parnell Square. It has no double bed, other than the fold-out sofas in the living-room, but if that suits you it was really the best deal I found. I was grateful, and surprised, it was available and felt the same after being there for three days. It would be difficult to find a more hospitable owner than Pat Collins, even in a nation of hospitable people. I mentioned that the day we arrived was my daughter's birthday and he had the place festooned with balloons and sweets and a cake. It has a little terrace, light and is very secure.

The property is located in centre city and all the main city attractions are within 20 minutes walk of the apartment, including museums, art galleries, shopping streets like Henry St., O'Connell St., and Grafton St., Trinity College, the Convention Centre and Croke Park for football and concerts. Temple Bar is likewise close by, with all its quaint shops, narrow streets, restaurants and night life.

There are numerous good quality restaurants in the city centre. The Guinness Storehouse is about 40 minutes walk and other attractions like Grafton St and St Stephen's Green are 30 minutes walk. Bus Tours around the city leave from the middle of O'Connell St about 12 minutes walk from the apartment. If you want a city break with everything on your doorstep and would like to explore the city then this apartment is for you. Underground car parking , which is secure and free to guests is also available if required.
