This penthouse is ideally located to enjoy Mallorca as its fullest. Right in the center, in one of the most famous peatonal streets, Apuntadors street surrounded by restaurants, shops, art galleries. Particularly, the orientation of the penthouse will warrantee you as well the required quietness for a wonderful holidays.

This loft has room for 6 persons, distributed in 2 bedrooms (queen size) plus a studio type lounge with comfortable sofas. Divided in two floors, the first floor is 60 sqm, with the two bedrooms, the bathroom and the office kitchen. The second floor has the studio lounge around 15 sqm with TV and the access to the terrace.

The terrace is 30 sqm divided in two floors: solarium + dinning place

The penthouse belongs to a renovated classic building that includes a lift. Enjoy the two-level terrace with STUNNING VIEWS over Palma gothic neighborhood including the Cathedral, the Palace of the Almudaina and part of the bay of Palma.

It combines stylish interiors, all appliances.

NEIGHBORHOOD

Apuntadors street is all about people, shops, restaurants, arts galeries joints together with the three icons of Levantine Gothic: the Cathedral, the Almudaina royal palace and the Lonja. Restaurants among boats and nets drying in the sun, where wild fish from the bay will complement your stay in Mallorca at its fullest.

In honor of La Lonja’s architect, Guillermo Sagrera, there is a section of the street in front of the building dedicated to him. Called Paseo Sagrera it is often confused with the Paseo Maritimo (Beach Boulevard), which is in fact one street closer to the sea.

This beautiful Paseo Maritimo with its tall Palm trees was commissioned by the Town Hall in 1930 and it is a favorite place to enjoy the pleasures of a tranquil city stroll. The benches in front of the buildings façade invite one to pause and reflect. A walk through history that is most surely worth it.

In 100 meters, begins "Es Born". For more than a century this short, tree-lined promenade has been at the heart of city life; it has witnessed fiestas, demonstrations and countless generations of families enjoying an evening stroll. Now lined with a selection of mid and high range shops, you'll find Zara, Boss and Louis Vuitton here. The central promenade also hosts music and dancing during Palma's many fiestas. Come here to feel the pulse of Palma from a seat at a pavement cafe - Bar Bosch, near the top of the Born in Placa Rei Joan Carles I, is the traditional place. Born is also the home to Ca'n Solleric, a modern art gallery which opened in 1995 in a converted mansion.

great location, friendly service, we'll come back

We did enjoy a wonderfull stay in this penthouse. Our reservation request was replied almost inmediately, the penthouse has a perfect location to enjoy the city at its fullest, location it could not be better, the restaurants just in the same street are just so tastefull! The place is not very big but we understand is a fair compromise between living in center, with a wonderfull terrace, for 4 persons is big enough and we had everything we need for our stay. We absolutely love the terrace, the solarioum is great to get tanned but we carefull you will need sun cream even in september! The host is very friendly the check in was smoth and nice. despite we were quite late they kept smiling. We come back very often to Mallorca and this will be on our spot places. Totally recomended

Unterirdisches Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Wir haben die Wohnung in der letzten Woche im August, d.h. in der Haupt-Reisezeit besucht. Die Anreise war sehr einfach, wir kannten uns aus, haben in einem recht günstigen Parkhaus geparkt und waren in 2 min zu Fuß da.

Die Schlüsselübergabe und das Bezahlen waren unkompliziert und einfach, der Gastgeber nett.

Schon nach wenigen Augenblicken fielen uns sehr viele Mängel auf:

- auf dem gesamten, sehr abgenutzten Fußboden lagen extrem viele lange schwarze Haare, der Boden wirkte wie wochenlang nicht gewischt

- auf der Terrasse waren so ziemlich auf jedem Möbelstück Katzenhaare verteilt, außerdem waren die Möbel dreckig und ungepflegt

- sämtliche Blumen auf der Terrasse verdorrt und Zigaretten im Steinbeet

- die Küchzeile incl. Geräten wie Kaffeemaschine/ Backofen sehr oberflächlich gereinigt und fettig

- Die Türen des Einbauschrankes im oberen Teil waren aus den Angeln gebrochen, die Terrassentür lies sich nicht mehr abschließen und ist von außen zu öffnen

- das eine Schlafzimmer war ok, da es kürzlich mit einem neuen Bett ausgestattet worden war, das andere Zimmer war so klein, dass nicht einmal Koffer ins Zimmer gestellt werden konnten. Außerdem war das Bett nicht ordentlich montiert, bzw. das Kopfteil fiel fast ab

- die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig, man kann die Nachbarn sprechen hören und unter den Schlafzimmerfenstern scheint eine Spülküche zu sein die man stark hört

- Der Esstisch war komplett instabil und auf den durchsichtigen Stühlen konnte man noch die Sonnencreme der Vorgänger finden

- die Möbel werden auf den Bildern hochwertig dargestellt sind aber teils Plastikmöbel vom "Schweden"

Nachdem wir dann nach kurzer Zeit dem Gastgeber die Mängel berichtet hatten, organisierte er die Reinigunskraft (2 Jungen a ca. 15 Jahren, deren Mutter anscheinend noch kommen wollte). Die Wohnung wurde ein zweites Mal gereinigt, jedoch war sie immer noch nicht so sauber wie wir es bereits in anderen Wohnungen erleben durften.

Trotz des Versprechens, dass die Schranktüren und das Bett repariert werden am nächsten Nachmittag ist während des Aufenthaltes nichts geschehen.

Alles in allem kann man sagen dass allein die wirklich tolle Lage nicht den Preis für die Wohnung rechtfertigt. Vergleichbare Wohnungen in ähnlicher Lage bekommt man für deutlich weniger Geld.

Wir würden die Wohnung nicht weiterempfehlen weil die Top moderne und hochwertige Atmosphäre, die auf den Bildern dargestellt wird, bei Weitem nicht erfüllt wird.

Owner's Response: (English response at the end) Während wir bedauern sehr, dass die Gäste waren so unglücklich mit ihrem Aufenthalt, auch wir denken, es ist nur fair, vor allem darauf hinweisen, dass diese Gäste waren eigentlich großzügig für die Unannehmlichkeiten. Die Reinigungskräfte kommen wieder ausgeglichen (Reinigungsmittel, die beide 18 waren Jahre). Das einzige, was uns gesagt wurde, wenn sie fertig waren, war, dass sie nun mit der Reinigung zufrieden. Da die Überprüfung Staaten bieten wir haben, zu kommen und zu beheben, die die Tür aus den Angeln und den Kopfteil übrig war, aber wurde gesagt, sie wollte nicht gestört werden. Die Tür in Frage ist für den Schrank, wo der Kessel ist, und nicht einen Schrank, die Kunden tatsächlich nutzen. Es fühlt sich wie ein ziemlich harten Kritik und wir können nur annehmen, dass es ist, weil die Kunden gebeten, für die MEISTEN der Mietkosten zurück, die wir uns nicht einigen konnten. Wir wollen, dass unsere Gäste glücklich zu sein und tun immer unser Bestes, um mit allem, was sich während ihres Aufenthalts kommt helfen und wir wirklich gedacht, dass alle Fragen hatte in diesem Fall angesprochen. English: While we are very sorry that the guests were so unhappy with their stay, we also think it's only fair to first of all point out that these guests were actually generously compensated for the inconvenience of having the cleaners come in again (cleaners who were both 18 years old). The only thing we were told when they had finished was that they were now satisfied with the cleaning. As the review states we did offer to come in and fix the door that was left off the hinges and the headboard, but were told they did not want to be disturbed. The door in question is for the cupboard where the boiler is, and not a cupboard that customers actually use. It does feel like a rather harsh review and we can only assume it's because the clients asked for MOST of the rental cost back, which we couldn't agree to. We want our guests to be happy and always do our very best to help with anything that comes up during their stay and we really thought that all the issues had been addressed in this case

In the other direction you can see the rooftops of the old part of Palma and the landscape towards the mountain range. Along the popular promenade for pedestrians and cyclists you find great restaurants, bars, cafes and shops.

Perfectly located in the neighbourhood of La Lonja, the former commercial port of Palma de Mallorca, one of the principal areas of the medieval trade in the Western Mediterranean.

This is a tranquil historical centre with a medieval outline of narrow and winding streets with tall traditional Mallorcan buildings. Along the cobbled streets you will find galleries and museums plus the beautiful and proud Cathedral La Seu.

This area has a great location, away from the hussle and bussle, but close to the commercial area of Palma with fantastic shopping and popular restaurants.
