Behind the elegant double-fronted facade of Bay Tree Cottage, 2 floors of sumptuous interior-designed accommodation await. Welcomed in by the cosy warmth of the under-floor heating, the spacious ground floor offers a stylish and exclusive cottage in which to relax and explore Cornwall.

The inviting sitting room has been decorated in a restful hue of soft stone and blue, for a chic coastal flair to accompany the deep sofas, solid wood flooring and elegant furnishings. Guests can easily

enjoy unwinding to the 32’’ Freeview TV and DVD player, which is provided alongside WIFI access and a music stereo. The romantic ambience from the wood burning stove also provides a fittingly

cosy setting here in the colder months.

Moving along the hallway, a spacious kitchen is fully-equipped to offer guests all the freedoms of a self-catering stay. The contemporary country-style charm of the kitchen provides a stylish setting in which to prepare delicious local produce, with an electric hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and a fridge freezer all to hand. A washing machine and tumble dryer, alongside a contemporary cloakroom WC are also located on the ground floor.

Featuring next to the spot-lit kitchen, a spacious dining area for up to 6 is provided. Furnished with an elegant dining table and Jacobean-style chairs, the scene is set for a beautiful venue in which to

enjoy relaxed meals and to catch up with friends and family.

A pretty conservatory overlooking the garden also offers a lovely care-free setting in which to savour a morning coffee or a chilled glass of wine.

The immaculately presented interior of the holiday cottage continues in the sleeping accommodation on the first floor. Each providing wonderful views of Restronguet Creek, the three bedrooms provide a tranquil sanctuary in which to relax at the end of the day.

An elegant master bedroom offers a restful and refined haven in which couples can revive the senses, with a sumptuous super king bed provided alongside fine antique furniture and a modern fitted

private shower.

The spacious second bedroom is ideal for accommodating a second couple, with its pretty charm offering a romantic setting in which to unwind. The room is furnished with another comfortable super king bed, which can also be made into twin beds if required.

The cottage is perfectly equipped for accommodating additional guests, with a third equally-stylish single bedroom on hand to the first floor. Guests may also borrow a baby cot, to sleep little ones if needed.

Leading on from the three bedrooms, a beautifully-fitted contemporary bathroom provides a tranquil escape in which to revive the senses. Finished with natural stone and luxury fittings, guests can enjoy an invigorating morning shower here or a replenishing bath after an action-packed day out.

To the rear of the period cottage an idyllic and mature landscaped garden featuring two covered ponds offers the perfect escapism during your stay, with high quality furniture and sun loungers

provided for your comfort - this really is a secluded piece of paradise.

Private parking for 1 car is provided and guests are situated

100m away from the waterside. The timeless setting of Point Green also enjoys close proximity to many great restaurants, pubs, beaches and water sports, which are all located in the surrounding area.

Popular Falmouth is within easy driving distance, making it the ideal day out for family fun, with a range of delights and attractions to enjoy including the 16th century Pendennis Castle. The nearby

Yacht Marina in Mylor is also home to a wide range of water sports and sailing opportunities. South Cornwall offers the perfect excuse to take to the water with sea kayaking, power boat rental, wind

surfing, sailing, fishing and more.

The breathtaking beauty of the area is also home to a number of famous horticultural attractions, including the National Trust gardens at Trelissick, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the modern

marvel of the Eden Project. Guests are also within easy reach of the cathedral city of Truro, for a cosmopolitan day of shopping and sightseeing.

Wow - the most beautiful house we have ever stayed in!

The photos on the website really raised our expectations as it looked stunning - and we were not disappointed! Amazing location with views of the water, a lovely private garden and off-road parking. The property was presented to an exceptional standard that we could not fault. The walk along the old railway line to the pub was definitely worth it - we did it almost every night!

Nearest Airport : Newquay at 15 Miles Nearest Ferry : Falmouth at 6 Miles Nearest Train : Truro at 4 Miles Nearest Beach : Devoran at 0.1 Miles Car: not necessary

The villages of Point and Devoran are relatively undiscovered and have an interesting history, built along the deep tidal Creeks of the Rive Fal which were once used by the ships transporting tin. The villages grew with the tin industry of Cornwall and today you can still see the remnants of this throughout the village.

This tranquil setting is well placed to explore, just 6 miles to Falmouth with it’s maritime museum, sandy beaches and sailing, The Cathedral City of Truro is only 4 miles away or a short trip on the King Harry Ferry and you are on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, this is a peaceful area perfect for relaxing family holidays.

The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within 40 minutes drive and the stunning beaches of north Cornwall are easily reached by car in less than 30 minutes.

Closer to home this area of outstanding natural beauty has lots on offer, with some of Cornwall’s most picturesque walking trails. The old Tramway is now a cycle track which runs through the valley and on to Portreath beach, 11 miles away on the north coast.

If sailing is your thing, you could hire a boat or canoe at nearby Mylor and explore the River Fal’s creeks and inlets.

At The Old Quay pub you will find a warm welcome and excellent food. Bikes can be hired from the pub.
