Unique 3-bedroom (3-bath) House in Conservation area close to Buckingham Palace

A unique house in the Conservation area of Pimlico, close to Buckingham Palace, the West End and Battersea Park, with easy access to the museums of Knightsbridge.

At the heart of the house is a handmade kitchen with original features such as exposed brick fireplace and sash window, equipped with a range of modern appliances, including a dishwasher. There is a double reception room, ideal for both relaxation and entertaining, equipped with Philippe Stark furnishings and Bang & Olufsen appliances. For those wishing to entertain, porcelain, silver and Irish and Venetian crystal are provided.

Guest accommodation comprises two smart double bedrooms, each with access to a charming patio terrace and use of a bathroom and shower room respectively. Additionally, there is a studio on the top floor with a luxurious sofa-bed, shower room and balcony. The studio has a range of board games, a TV/DVD player and a Wii console.

There is both a cafe and a famous delicatessen within five metres of the house. On the adjacent street, there is a full range of amenities, small but well stocked supermarket, dry cleaners, launderette, Indian restaurant and colourful Tapas bar. There is a fantastic variety of shops, bars and restaurants near Victoria Station. The River Thames is five minutes away on foot giving access to Battersea Park, ideal for running or playing tennis. Tennis raquets and balls are provided. Access to a local gym can be arranged for £5 per day.

Victoria train, coach and bus stations are all within ten minutes' walk and Pimlico tube station is on the adjacent street. There are three local bus services, giving access to all of Chelsea, South Kensington, Westminster, the West End, Oxford St and South London in minutes.

For longer term guests, cleaning, catering and laundry pick-up/drop-off services can be arranged.

Loved staying at this flat in London. Sara was very accommodating and Lazlo was there to greet us, let us drop our bags, and gave us some great food and shopping recommendations. The beds were comfortable and we all really loved this beautiful place.

Magical

I cannot believe it's over😥? so I am already planning for next year!

We flew out from California (six of us) and arrived earlier than check in and Sarah was VERY accommodating she and her caretaker Lazlo were there to greet us and familiarize us with all the little things that truly matter! Things like how to connect to WiFi, operate the heater,. Make coffee, the power adaptors, I could go on and on and to discover they had even provided our initial coffee .. we were truly so grateful. The accommodations were very comfortable! I and my 6 year old slept upstairs on a pull out sofa bed and were very comfortable! There was a Wii upstairs but I didn't tell Bruce 😃? the watched cartoon s in the morning and at night right before bedtime. The garden house is right off of a mainstreet where there are two little markets and there is a deli at the corner, I would frequent for the delightful desserts We opted to make breakfast and saved alot of money that way, and ate at the little pubs in and around where we visited during the day. The bus stop is literally at the corner and pimlico station (tubes) is a 5-8 min walk. I would highly recommend this home for anyone staying in London. See you next year! Thanks again for letting us stay at your wonderful place in Pimlico and thank you for being an AMAZING host !

A lovely home if stairs are not an issue.

I agree with all the current reviews. Sarah's home is a very welcoming and comfortable place. The one thing missing from the reviews and description is the stairs and the general layout of the rooms within the 3 floors. If a person has any walking issues this home might not be the right choice. There is one sink and toilet on the main floor. Full bathrooms and the bedrooms are up a spiral staircase or down 1 flight of stairs with no handrails. I traveled with my sister who injured her knee before the trip. The stairs were a problem so she had to sleep on the couch and very slowly navigate the stairs to the lower level to shower. My comments are not meant to be critisisum only for added info for a more informed choice. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this home for most people. Thank you Sarah for a generally very plesant experience in your home.

Wonderful stay!

Everything was fabulous. First time to London. Location was great, tube stations close by and very centrally located. Every thoughtful amenity was provided for. Water pressure in showers was perfect. 3 beds and 4 baths was more than we needed, but we used them all anyway!

Very nice property with great access to central London.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Pimlico. The property was very nice. Due to the weather we were not able to access the patios but the property itself was very nice. The location was great to central London as well as public transportation.

This is a fantastic flat in a fantastic location.

We arrived early and we were allowed to drop off our luggage before check in. There is a Tesco express very nearby. Pimlico underground is quite close. Even closer is the stop for the 24 bus. The flat was perfect for the 6 of us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Although most of the house is 150 years old, it has been sympathetically refurbished to combine modern appliances with original features. At the heart of the house is a handmade kitchen with exposed brick fireplace, corniced ceilings and modern appliances, including a dishwasher. The kitchen is equipped with seating for six.

There is a luxurious double reception room with Philippe Stark furnishings and Bang & Olufsen appliances, including a TV and CD player. For those wishing to entertain, porcelain, silver cutlery and Irish and Venetian crystal are provided. Access to caterers, cleaners and dry clean collection/drop-off can be arranged.

Sleeping accommodation comprises two smart double bedrooms each with access to a charming patio terrace, and a bathroom and shower room respectively. The rear terrace has extensive seating and a working water fountain. In addition, there is a top floor studio with a luxurious sofa bed, an ensuite shower room and an outside balcony with seating. The studio space is equipped with TV, extensive DVD collection and a Wii console.

There is both a cafe and a famous delicatessen within metres of the house. On the adjacent street, there is a full range of amenities, small but well stocked supermarket, dry cleaners, laundrette, Indian restaurant, friendly pub and colourful Tapas bar. Victoria train, coach and bus stations are all within ten minutes' walk and Pimlico tube station is on the adjacent street. There is a row of 'Boris' bikes available for hire metres from the house.

The house is exceptionally quiet, yet moments away from the sights and sounds of Central London and all the city has to offer.
