About this property

Welcome to Our Home which we hope will feel like Your Home! This Jensen Beach Slice Of Heaven in a neighborhood of single family homes offers a fully fenced private property, lushly landscaped w/palm trees, flowering shrubs & vines, and a tool shed with painted mural offering BEAUTY & PRIVACY and a relaxing, artistic, laid back vibe. The backyard screened lanai doubles the size of the living space. Enjoy the seasonally heated salt water swimming pool, patio areas both covered and open to the sun for lounging, reading, working, sunbathing, & dining…all fully screened in and with the soothing sound of the pool’s waterfall. The gas grill is just outside the screened lanai.

The kitchen is stocked with spices, 3 kinds of coffee makers, blender, food processor plenty of cookware and also colorful and fun dishes and serving pieces. The Great Room has two distinct seating areas: A large comfortable sectional facing a wall-mounted flat panel TV and another area with a love seat and club chair w/coffee table. Indoor Dining table seats eight. Our house’s layout is fully open concept and so comfortable.

The screened lanai’s dining table seats six. The tiki bar & tiki tables offer even more, including the ideal work station…..A literal out-of-office, Office. 😊

The Primary Bedroom has a king size bed, glass doors opening directly onto one of the patios and a en-suite bathroom w/roomy step-in shower w/2 shower heads. Two additional bedrooms share the hall bathroom w/tub-shower. 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom with two twin size beds. All 3 bedrooms have built in shelving in their closets.

Full sized Washer & Dryer area is off the kitchen in the attached tiled floored “garage” which has a water cooler and functions as a multi purpose room…pantry, storage for beach chairs, cooler, bikes, cookware, etc offering plenty of storage for everything but cars. There are no basements in Florida!

The neighborhood is full of wide sidewalks and there’s a tiny playground a block away. A truly short drive (under 3miles) will take you to numerous Hutchinson Island (also known as A1A and Ocean Blvd) beaches, including the large, main Jensen Beach with cafe.

Just a mile from the house is the big supermarket, Publix. Winn-Dixie is even closer. There are so many stores and restaurants and a great fresh fruit and vegetable stand, Barbour's, all close by. Try the fresh squeezed tangerine juice at the food stand right there. Neighboring town of Stuart is just 2 miles away, with even more restaurants and boutique shopping.

This is simply a wonderful combo platter of serenity, convenience, and beach proximity!

Enjoyable stay

This was our second stay at this house. The location is nice in a quite neighborhood. The owners are wonderful. They communicate quickly and take care of any issues which arise. There were a few issues with the house that needed to be taken care of. The pool area is nice. The beds are comfortable and air conditioning works well. The living room furniture is not very comfortable so for an extended stay was not the best. The kitchen is older but adequate. There is a nice grill that is a bonus. The dishwasher works but is quite old. I think some updates could be made but overall a nice place to stay with wonderful hosts.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks, especially our 2 doggos who enjoyed running around the enclosed large yard. Pool was always comfortable and neighborhood was quiet.

Perfect Vacation Home

Peter, our host, was amazing, and we felt as if we were staying at a good friend's home-not just a run of the mill rental. Lots of notes regarding great local places to eat, and things to do in the area. Quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for AM walks and even a small playground a block away for the kiddos! The pool was clean and refreshing, the kitchen is stocked, the beds are comfortable with fresh linens and plenty of towels AND beach towels to use poolside, or for a trip to the Atlantic. Only a 15 minute drive over the bridge to some delightful public beaches, and we even found a great "doggie" beach-OFF LEASH!! WooHoo! It was a memorable vacation for EVERYONE!

This home has been in our family since 2007. For the first time, we’ve decided to share it. In 2017, we spent several months seriously decluttering, sprucing, painting & purchasing some new appliances, furniture and all new beds and sheets, to be ready to welcome others to our slice of Florida heaven. And since that time, we continue to make improvements, large and small based on the suggestions of our guests.

Why they chose this property

The Treasure Coast culture is laid back and friendly. This house offers a rare combination of privacy and convenience. The open floor plan continues to amaze us with its simple perfection. With comfortable furniture and walls full of art, the vibe is distinctly casual. The private screened lanai w/pool also includes a long bar w/stools and 2 separate patio areas with overhead ceiling; one for dining and the other is off the primary bedroom. Drive to the beaches in less time than it takes to finish your cup of coffee. Or ride a bike there in 15 minutes. The neighborhood offers endless sidewalks for strolling and biking. Playground is a five minute walk down the street. Grocery stores, boutique shopping and a huge assortment of restaurants are all just a hop, skip and jump away. We’ve collected a wide variety of take-out menus, all super convenient to the house. This part of Florida is fairly convenient to Orlando- the 2 hour drive affords a reasonable day trip. There are so many other easy and wonderful destinations for day trips. Or just stay put, swim a few laps in the saline swimming pool and take in some vitamin D.

What makes this property unique

Instant stress relief. Feel at home. Privacy without isolation. Truly easy and speedy access to pristine beaches on Hutchinson Island as well as Jensen Beach & Stuart center restaurants and shopping.
