Living/dining room, fitted kitchen, master bedroom with double bed and en suite shower room, twin bedroom and bathroom. WiFi broadband. Lift. Allocated and visitor parking. Close to the lock and just a short walk from all the attractions and facilities of the marina; including a good selection of bars and restaurants, multiplex cinema and supermarket.

What makes this apartment unique

The fabulous location of the apartment is what really sold it to me. Situated close to the water's edge, the lock is just a few footsteps away and it's only a short stroll to the many bars and restaurants of The Boardwalk.

We were very happy to have chosen this property for our long weekend away.it had a bit of everything for everyone and all just a short walk away, a good aqua pool and fun park for the kids,a great spot for fishing from the shore for dad , decent restaurants and shops for mum and a smart well finished apartment with marina views for us all to share,and thanks to Alan for being so helpful and obliging

Excellent accommodation

Welcoming apartment set on the second floor in a secure block. Simply but nicely

furnished with everything you need. Warm and cosy with pleasant views over part of the Marina. Within walking distance of some very nice resturants and a range of shops including a large Supermarket. Can also walk to the sea front. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely apartment

The recent refurbishment is very obvious as the apartment is spotlessly clean and very well kitted out. We found it ideal for our needs and really liked the location. Despite it being December we walked along the seafront in to Eastbourne within an hour of arriving. Note that the Homeway website is showing the incorrect price for a 3 night minimum stay and you need to check the actual rate with the owner.

Owner's Response: I am aware of this anomaly with the Homeaway web site and have pointed it out to them. We operate a minimum charge for short stays and so please check before booking. Update... As stated, I operate a minimum charge for part week stays. The Homeaway site merely divides the week by 7 then multiplies by the number of nights required. Therefore I have had to state my minimum charge in the notes below the rates on the Homeaway site. Please refer to these notes when booking during the low season in particular.

Very pleasant surroundings. Good area to be in.

The flat was very comfortable and ideal for our needs. Plenty of places to eat on site so did not have to travel too much. Good area for walking both to Eastbourne and Pevensey bay.

Spacious apartment but no balcony

The pictures of the apartment are missleading as there is no balcony to sit out on and the provided picture looking out over the harbour does not seem to have been taken from the apartment.

However the apartment is spacious, well decorated, and has good bathrooms.

Owner's Response: The apartment does not have outside balcony space and is not advertised as having such and this can also clearly be seen from the view to the window within the lounge. The marina view as listed as being the view from the apartment is in fact correct and was taken by myself from the lounge window. The photo listed as showing that the apartment has marina views from both the lounge/diner and both bedrooms is a view looking toward the apartment from the far side of the basin and is used to illustrate the fact.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Property was pleasantly furnished and had everything we needed. Its location is brilliant, overlooking the marina, but in a quiet area, yet only a couple of minutes' walk to restaurants and the busy Waterside. Ten minutes' walk gets you to the cinema, supermarket and retail park. We were lucky enough to also have fantastic weather and enjoyed visits to Drusillas and a boat trip to Beachy Head. There was plenty to do for all ages. Alan from Bay Lettings was helpful and collected us from the railway station as we did not have our own transport. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.
