Superb property for a wonderful holiday

  • 5 of 5

The property is breathtaking and immaculately clean. The owners are extremely kind and friendly but not overpowering. The area is lovely and quite central to the coasts and cities. We are truly glad we booked two weeks and not one. We not only returned home with wonderful memories of a fantastic holiday but in the owners we have made three special life long friends. We would gladly reccomend this property for a holiday to remember.Definitely A Star.

Lovely spacious house in a tranquil area

  • 4 of 5

We stayed at the property in October with 4 adults and 4 children as we wanted somewhere within easy reach of the Normandy beaches (less than 30 mins to Omaha or Utah) but in a tranquil setting. This converted barn suited us perfectly and was very spacious throughout with a lovely big kitchen and a lounge area with a log burner...lovely to stoke up after a cold day exploring. The grounds were extensive and it was even warm enough to fire up the BBQ and eat outside! Although the owners are on site in the barn opposite, they never intruded and gave a warm welcome. There are some lovely local villages and cycle tracks with plenty of wildlife on hand (we often spotted deer in the surrounding fields). If we had one complaint it was that the barn only has one double bed...but you might just prefer that!!! I would be happy to recommend this property.
