Identical units each with 1 spacious double bedroom, shower room with power shower, and an open plan lounge and kitchen with dining table and chairs. Outside has parking, ramped access, a garden and patio for alfresco dining. All linen and towels included. A folder is provided with details on the property and maps and directions to find the nearest places to eat, or if you prefer to cook for yourselves, the nearest Co-Op and Asda, all within 10 minutes!

These purpose built Suffolk Lodge holiday homes are set within 4 acres of private grounds within the medieval village of Coddenham. The Lodges have their own entrance and private off road parking area with paved footpaths leading to a decking ramp for the front door or continuing to the paved patio area for alfresco dining.

The Lodges have an open plan lounge and kitchen/dining area, which over look the paddock towards the village, with a spacious double bedroom and shower room. The lounge offers a sofa, freeview flat screen television that is PC compatible, DVD player, docking station . The kitchen benefits from having an oven with built in grill, 4 ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, built in fridge with freezer compartment, crockery, cutlery and all utensils.

Each Lodge has a paved patio, accessed through French windows, with table and chairs for you to enjoy the outdoors and lovely views along with a grassed garden area.

All linen and towels are provided.

The Lodges, and indeed Coddenham, are ideally situated for you to make the most of exploring Suffolk. We have numerous walks right on our doorstep, and wildlife galore visiting the property. Coddenham itself boasts the medieval St Mary's Church, Coddenham Food Store which provides fresh bakery, veg, deli, off license, gifts, outreach Post Office and cafe, then there's the Community Sports Hall with its tennis courts, badminton court and bowls green, the Country Club and the Duke's Head Pub. The heritage coast with the towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold are only a 45 minute drive, and Constable country with the towns of Flatford and Dedham are just a 30 minute drive. Don't forget to visit Lavenham and Long Melford, wonderful for an antiques hunt, again only a 30 minute drive.

In fairness to everyone, and to all the wildlife around us, we do not accept pets. If you haven't already visited Coddenham, why not? It really is a great place to base yourself for exploring Suffolk, and choosing to stay in one of our Lodges offers you comfort and privacy with the security of having an owner on site should you need anything. PLEASE NOTE : BOTH LODGES HAVE PRIVATE OFF ROAD PARKING WHICH IS ALMOST ESSENTIAL IN THIS VILLAGE.

Lovely setting, very peaceful and quiet.

It was a lovely place...very tranquil, i even did a few yoga poses in the mesdow. It is very quiet, though not very private if the other cabin is occupied. There was a slight ant problem but it is in a field thus to be expected and they weren't too bad. There is a village shop but the supermarket is quite far so I took tea etc. Lovely restaurant called The Walnut Tree about 15 minutes away, book though it gets busy. I had a much needed and perfect break.

Lovely Location

We had a very peaceful relaxing time.just what we needed.Grahame welcomed us to the lodge and showed us the facilities..

Told us if we needed anything just call at the house.

Would highly recommend it if you just want to chill out.

We loved it

We had a wonderful stay, everything we needed and Grahame was very helpful and lovely to talk too. Plenty of things close by to do and see. Would highly recommend it and we will definitely be staying again.

Fantastic location and fantastic property

Squirrel Lodge is the perfect place from which to explore Suffolk. It is in a beautiful location, is peaceful but is easily accessible, being just 15 minutes from Ipswich. The property itself is stunning - everything you need for a break away has been thought of. It is extremely comfortable and cosy, with high quality fixtures and fixtures. Grahame, the owner, is very welcoming and friendly. We love it and can't wait to return!

Quality accommodation

Well equipped, clean cosy lodge. Good location for touring the area, but a shame the local pub has closed so no where local for a meal or a drink. Although the lodge was well equipped a hairdryer would have been useful and a small welcome pack with a few basics would have been helpful as the local store was closed when we arrived.. Lovely area, good value accommodation well worth a visit
