About Antonio Nobile

Antonio is Italian. He has lived in Bagni di Lucca with his family for many years and adores this area of Tuscany. He has rented holiday accommodation successfully ifor many years so he understands what people need to enjoy their holiday.

Antonio Nobile purchased this farmhouse in 2009

Why Antonio Nobile chose Lucca Area

My family lives in Tuscany as well as many other parts of Italy. For us here it was about finding a family friendly area and "Location, Location, Location". Close to Bagni di Lucca centre yet out in the countryside, with views to die for and a short drive to Pisa, Florence & Lucca. Beaches of Versilia for the summer and Ski resorts of Abetone in the winter what more could you wish for!.

What makes this farmhouse unique

Apart from the stunning natural beauty and tranquility of the area, staying here will give you a real Italian experience. This is not an area of mass tourism. Most of our neighbours in the village don't speak much English, yet it doesn’t stop them giving you a friendly wave and shouting Ciao as you walk by. There are so many great local restaurants to choose from as well as food festivals, pizzatas and cafes. Try authentic dishes at great prices only 11 euros for 2 courses with wine & coffee, you will find it difficult to decide which one to go to sometimes! On the other hand, barbecuing lazily on the terraces with a few beers or a bottle of wine, popping in for a dip in the pool and soaking up the lovely views, isn't a bad option either. The two storey stone farmhouse dating back over 250 years, is set in over 38 acres of land. It was a complete wreck when we found it & came complete with abandoned cow stalls (they even had the names of the cows still above the milking stations) Many of the original features remained from its cotto ceilings, stone floors, chestnut beams and old farm machinery. We set about lovingly restoring it into a luxury home and after two years, the house was finally renovated. Furniture was purchased, pool finished, 400 olive trees, a saffron field and truffle groves planted, as well as the many garden areas around the house. All there for you to enjoy where you will find fruits, herbs and nut trees to eat at your leisure. We feel very privileged to own our own corner of Tuscany, a little piece of paradise and it is this we would like to share with you!

Great Holiday in Tuscany

  • 5 of 5

Great property, stunning location, had all you would expect from a luxury holiday rental and more. Owners helpful and gave good advice on where to eat and what was worth a visit. Booked a chef through owners, who made some delicious meals for our group. Would recommend this property and location to others. Thank you Antonio & Joanna for all your help and advice you were great, and we all had a fantastic time at your wonderful home.

We are so pleased you loved the property and it's location as much as we do. All depending what you want to get from your holiday we always have lots of ideas to share with guests on things to see and do in the area.
