The Palisades is a new townhouse community located along the south coast of Barbados – only a short 10 minute drive from the airport. It is steps away from one of the most popular surfing spots on the Island - Freight's Bay. Within walking distance of the popular Enterprise Beach, it is also only a 15 minute drive from Bridgetown, and is in close proximity to golf, shopping, and many other amenities within the South Coast areas of Oistins and Worthing.

Unit 6A boasts a very open plan design that allows free flow from the living/dining room and kitchen, out to the patio, where you will find your very own private plunge pool. The kitchen is ultra modern, well equipped featuring stainless steel appliances and all the comforts of home. The downstairs bedroom also opens on to the patio where you can enjoy the moonlight and stars or the gorgeous sunshine of the day. Upstairs, the master bedroom has its own small private balcony that has a lovely view of the ocean; yet another perfect spot to relax, unwind and watch the sun set. The second upstairs bedroom also has beautiful views of the sea from its balcony. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in muted, soft light colours that add to the tranquil feel of Palisades 6A.

As a guest at The Palisades, you can also enjoy the cliff top, Ocean Front Club House, with amazing ocean views. Facilities at the club house include a small kitchen/bar area, washrooms, semi-private outdoor shower, sundeck and a staircase access to the tidal Freight's Bay Beach.

Activity and Interests

The South Coast of Barbados offers stretches of white sand beaches, which are popular to locals and visitors. Restaurants abound in this area offering some of the most eclectic dishes available in Barbados. From burgers to Thai food and in settings ranging from casual by the sea eateries to fine dining, you can find just about any menu item the island has to offer at south coast restaurants!

In St. Lawrence Gap are a host of choices - Ocean One, Sharkey's, Paulo's Churrasco Do Brasil, Apsara Restaurant (India and Thai) and Café Sol.

As you move West, towards Bridgetown, you will find in the Worthing area, Copacabana, Lucky Horseshoe Steak House (open 24 hours), Bert�������s Bar & Restaurant and the renown Champers, overlooking the sea. Continuing on into the Rockley area, there is Quayside Plaza with Just Grillin���� and other small food outlets. As you continue along the coast towards Bridgetown through Hastings, there is Bubba����s Sport Bar, Ackee Tree (for great Rotis), Naru, Tapas (which overlook the Boardwalk and ocean). Near to the Garrison is Mama Mia (Italian).

Just off Bay Street, heading towards Lighthouse Point is Brown Sugar, The Cruising Club ��Dippers Bar and Restaurant�� and the Hilton Hotel with its varied selection of restaurants. Further along on Bay Street is Lobster Alive, The Boatyard and of course the renowned Waterfront Caf��� which looks on to the Careenage and has live nightly entertainment.

Heading easterly along Highway 7 is New Century (Chinese), Surfer������������������������������������������������������s Caf�� and off course, Oistins Bay Gardens where you can have freshly caught fish cooked many ways, and where Friday night is must see! A little further on through is Cafe Luna, overlooking Enterprise Beach and at the very southern end of the island is Surfer������s Bay. On the eastern side of the island, beyond the airport you will find the Crane Resort, featuring Zen (Sushi and Japanese) and L����Azure.
