Wonderful views over the Cotswolds, heated pool, tennis court and games room

Overview

Property

Updated: 06-Jul-2016
Stylish Cotswolds country house, huge pool and a walk to a gastro-pub

Sometimes the facts can’t quite convey the magic.

Hill House sleeps 16 in seven bedrooms and has elegant, contemporary furnishing. It sits in two acres of grounds that merge seamlessly with glorious North Cotswolds countryside. It has a tennis court and heated pool. Huge flowing rooms, big terraces, a games room and playground.

But what about the sense of space, light and magic as you sweep up the driveway?

The sense of awe inspired by the view from the raised private terrace. The spirit of togetherness that this house can forge. And the difference that all the little details make. Stay at Hill House and it elevates you. Leave, and it stays with you. Just perfect for your special escape.

Kids in the Cotswolds

For a day of animal fun head to the Cotswold Wildlife Park. You’ll get a train ride through the grounds, an adventure playground and of course the lions, zebras, hippos, penguins, fruit bats, monkeys – and lots more.

For lovely woodland walks and magnificent Birds of Prey shows head down the road to Batsford Arboretum and Falconry Centre. Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park is a another great day out, especially for younger children. You can feed the animals, ride a tractor and learn about rare breeds. Or play hide and seek in the gardens at Hidcote, a few minutes from Hill House.

Jousting, archery, falconry, medieval displays, mighty trebuchet catapult. Sound fun? Then head to Warwick Castle for an action packed day. Buy tickets online to avoid the queues.

For car enthusiasts and older children there’s the Heritage Motor Centre and Museum. With a selection of outdoor activities including 4×4 driving, Go Karts and a Miniature Roadway.

For the Grown Ups

You don’t need to do anything other than relax in the house, sit around the pool and stroll down the road to The George – or head out to one of the many fabulous gastro-pubs nearby after exploring some of the beautiful local villages.

If you would like to indulge in some beauty and health pampering our expert beauty therapists offer a full range of treatments in the comfort of the house.

Want to get more active? Rob Ireland Country Pursuits offers an exciting range of outdoor activities. For horse riding there is The Vine Stables near Broadway offering hacks and lessons for individuals or groups. The nearest fishing site is Leamington Lakes which offers top quality fishing in pretty, peaceful and relaxing surroundings.

Make the most of being together with a photography session at your Cotswolds country house from James Crockford, a fantastic local photographer who will take relaxed photos of your family and friends.
