Come and relax in this magnificent recent gîte, classified 3 stars by the Prefecture of the Pyrenees Atlantique, consisting of a new SEMI-DETACHED HOUSE, which can accommodate 6 people. You will benefit from a fully equipped modern kitchen, opening onto a large bright living room. In addition to the convertible living room, the two comfortable bedrooms offer sleeping accommodation with a large bed and 2 bunk beds. You will discover on the partly covered terrace with a Plancha corner, the mountains very close to the Basque Country and more than 1000 m2 of green space to relax in peace and not overlooked. The splendid region will encourage you to laze around and will also allow you to enjoy a variety of activities (visits to monuments and typical villages of the Basque Country, fishing, cycle tourism, hiking in the mountains or on the way to St Jacques de Compostelle)

3 rooms, 2 bedrooms, for an area of 60 m2. The maximum capacity is 6 people. The kitchen is open to the dining room with convertible living room.

vacances en pleine nature

Logement bien équipé, au calme, entouré de verdure et tout près de la petite ville de Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. Rien de manque. Propriétaires très sympathiques, prêts à vous aider si besoin.

Manque d’intimité et confort/équipements basiques

Les ´plus’ de cette location: la gentillesse des propriétaires et leur réactivité à nous fournir un jeu de linge de lit/serviettes qui n’etaient pas prévus. L’air conditionné dans le séjour. Les électroménagers fonctionnels et modernes. Néanmoins nous sommes déçus pour les raisons suivantes: lit très petit 140/190) et matelas/sommier très dur; absence de moustiquaire dans les chambres d’ou le choix entre dormir fenêtres fermées dans des pièce non climatisée ou être attaqués par les moustiques; manque d’intimité car l’accès voiture à la seconde maison mitoyenne passait devant notre coin de terrasse; aucun siège de jardin type transat et parasol malgré une absence totale d’ombre dès 10h du matin (y compris sur la terrasse) et alors que la maison disposait d’une grande pelouse (aucun arbre). Équipements: un seul rouleau de papier toilette pour une semaine (nous avons dû en acheter), pas de verres à vin, un seul saladier, pas de plat conçu pour le micro-ondes, ... on se sent une maison de vacances où le superflus qui contribue tellement au confort (par ex. Coussins sur sièges en tissage et en plastique) est absent. Les propriétaires ne sont pas à proximité donc difficile de gérer ces questions sur le moment. L’annonce devrait mentionner clairement que le linge de maison n’est pas inclus même si les propriétaires sont allés acheter tout le nécessaire pour nous satisfaire. Nous espérons que ces commentaires seront utiles tant aux locataires que aux propriétaires et ne seront pas modifiés.
