Arngomery Cottage is a charming property set within beautiful surroundings. It forms a self-contained wing of the old coach house and stables of Arngomery Court. The recently renovated cottage has been furnished sympathetically and is very spacious and comfortable. Outside there is a private terrace and guests are free to enjoy the picturesque and tranquil grounds of approximately 3 acres. Although surrounded by parkland and fields, a pleasant 15 minute walk takes you to the little village of Kippen with its two good pub/restaurants and delicatessen.

Garden and Grounds: The 3 acres of gardens comprise a large flat lawn with an embankment rising up to an area of woodlands beyond. A small burn runs along one side of the property.

Children will enjoy the play area of swings and trampoline. In addition to the table and chairs on the terrace there are some reclining chairs near the play area where parents can relax while keeping an eye on children. One well behaved dog is welcome (additional £20).

Walks Around Kippen: The village of Kippen is surrounded by several scenic walks. One in particular (Back road & Broich) is right next to Arngomery Cottage. This goes through fields and parkland to the pretty village of Kippen. It is a lovely walk that includes some splendid scenery of the nearby carse (flatland) with Ben Lomond and Ben Ledi in the distance. The village of Kippen commands enviable views over some of Scotland's finest scenery. Kippen and the nearby Kippen Muir are steeped in some of Scotland's most colourful history.

Perfect break!

The cottage was perfect for us. Debbie and Mark were very friendly and the place is great for dogs which suited us. Lovely wood burning stove and well stocked comfortable cottage. Great walks on the doorstop... Just the break we needed - very relaxing!!!

Arngommery cottage

Arngomery cottage is in a beautiful and tranquil location amidst pretty countryside and farmland but with village shops and good places to eat within a mile. The cottage is a lovely home and is a wing of the adjoining Arngomery Court, a handsome 17th century building.

The cottage is a home and is warm, welcoming and comfortably and stylishly furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and all is kept very clean and well maintained. It has a lovely gardened and naturalised garden at the rear where it's great to sit and contemplate the beauty and quiet, the birds, wildlife and plants and listen to the nearby stream. Sometimes cattle and sheep graze the adjoining fields and there are walks to enjoy from the property.

The owners Debbie and Mark, are lovely people who couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. We have been to the cottage about 5 times now and I always look forward to seeing Arngomery House as we arrive down the drive and to spending a great week at the cottage.

I would recommend this cottage and have done so on several occasions.

Ubicació perfeca i una casa comodíssima.

Una ubicació perfecta per accedir a Edimburg, Stirling, Glasgow i els Trossachs.

Es una casa comòdissima, on només hi hem trobat a faltar alguns estris de cuina (olles grans i potser una planxa) i també que en una de les habitacions, la de matrimoni, no te l'armari de la roba dins sinó fora en una mena de rebedor.

This suberb central location is situated next to the lochs and mountains, yet is also within an hour's drive of the city attractions of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Beautiful Loch Lomond and the picturesque region known as the Trossachs are within a 12 mile radius. There are various places of interest to visit, such as the nearby town of Stirling with its historic castle and the Wallace Monument. Doune Castle and Dunblane Cathedral are also close by. The region offers excellent walking whether it be a gentle stroll round a loch or a more challenging hike up Benn Ann or Benn Ledi. The area is also good for mountain biking, golf and sailing. If this seems a bit too strenuous, you can still enjoy the mountains and lochs by taking one of the many scenic drives. Alternatively, when you just want to take it easy, you can always relax in the peaceful surroundings of Arngomery Cottage.
