Guestbook comments from the manager

we had a great holiday at Half Moon Cottage. The cottage is really beautiful and cosy and it was one of the best holiday homes we ever booked. And as you most obviously know we had wonderful weather during the two weeks we spent in Camber. It proved the common german prejudice about the english weather completely wrong.

As we spent a lot of time at the sunny and sandy beach the availability of a washing machine at Half Moon turned out very helpful. I think this is worth to mention on your webpage as this might be interesting to know especially for families with children.

Finally it was all in all a marvellous holiday with all the interesting and historic sightseeing places and towns (like Bodiam Castle, Hastings and especially Rye) around, a beautiful and clean beach with dunes and London close by. We can definitely recommend the area around Camber and take a return for another holiday into consideration.

Thanks for your service and kind regards,

A beautiful house in a great location

  • 5 of 5

A really lovely house with everything you could want for a comfortable break away. Lovely furnishings which gave it a lux hotel feel, but with the convenience of a home; ideal for young families but the grown ups still feel a bit spoilt. It really is a short walk to the beautiful beaches and lots to do in the area. Would highly recommend in terms of location & facilities. We ordered a food delivery from the supermarket when we arrived so it was the most hassle free holiday we've had. But the delicious cake waiting for us on arrival was still very welcome. Thank you for a lovely home from home!

Wir waren zufrieden...

  • 4 of 5

Aber Not macht erfinderisch....

Supermarktempfehlung: Morrisons in Hastings.
