Superb 3 Bedroom Apartment In Newly Renovated French Villa

Our penthouse apartment is on the second floor, with large wrap-around terrace to all sides - allowing 360 degree views. Private lift access directly into the apartment

From the patio enjoy stunning sea-views from Cannes, across the cap d'Antibes, to old Antibes and up to the Alps.

A 5 minute walk brings you to the beaches of Antibes, with it's beautiful old town and daily market. A 5 minute walk in the other direction finds you in the vibe of Juan les Pins, with its chic nightlife, and equally beautiful beaches. Restaurants and bars abound nearby.

The villa has been recently renovated, and is set in lush grounds with a beautiful pool. We have private parking within this secure gated development.

Open plan fully equipped modern kitchen, dining room, and lovely bright spacious sitting room.

The large terrace has an outdoor dining table for 6, sofa and chairs, and sun loungers. Sun loungers are also available at the pool. Air conditioning / heating, Internet and satellite TV.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 open directly onto the terrace, with en-suite bathrooms.

The top mezzanine bedroom 3 has floor to ceiling glass and en-suite bathroom.

All bathrooms have a shower, and the ensuite to bedroom 2 has a bath.

There is an additional cloakroom.

We stayed at the exclusive "La Bastide" in July this year. Having read the fantastic description on the web, we felt sceptical that it could really be as good as described, but it actually was true to form and we were delighted with what we found. The appartment is a penthouse occupying the whole top floor of an elegant old mansion, set in the centre of large beautifully maintained ornamental gardens with a shared swimming pool. Ivan the manager was there to greet us and show us how to get up to the roof in the lift. He was very friendly and helpful recommending local sights and restaurants of which there are many!

The appartment was surrounded by a wide terrace on all sides, so we had spectacular coastal and mountain views in every direction. Inside it was spacious, light and airy - everything was clean and modern and felt very luxurious. The kitchen was open plan and fully equipped with every mod con. The interior design was chique, stylish - white - clean lines, ultra modern. Two double bedrooms open out on to the terrace beds were very comfortable with duck down pillows , crisp Egyptian cotton sheets, and loads of thick white towels in every bathroom . It was fully air conditioned so a cool retreat from the heat of the Antibes sun. Brilliant location in the middle of cap D'Antibes,old Antibes town and Juan Les Pins . Lounging on the terrace in the evening -with a glass of rose -watching the sun go down and the lights sparkle down the whole coast to Monte Carlo - was truly magical.

A great find and we will definitely go back.

Our family, mother, three adult daughters and granddaughter, enjoyed this spacious three bedroom, three and a half bath penthouse. The wrap-around terrace, with views of the French Alps and Mediterranean Sea is spectacular. La Bastibe far exceeded our expectations.

The owner, Vickie, was very responsive. The property manager, Ivan, anticipated our needs and insured that our stay was perfect. La Bastibe is convenient for day trips to towns on the French Riviera. Don't miss the local boulangerie, a visit to St. Paul de Vence and the coastal walk at Cap D'Antibes.

Fantastic Apartment

Beautiful apartment in a great location near the sandy beaches of both Antibes and Juan Les Pins. 10 min walk to Juan Les Pins railway station to be able to visit Nice, Cannes, Grasse, Monaco etc. 5 minutes from the supermarket. We didn't have a car for our week stay and definitely didn't need it, although there is a parking space available within the gated complex.

The apartment is superb and really did help make the holiday, even nicer than the photos show. It is nice and bright with lovely views all the way round. Ivan was great and took the time to show us around the apartment and make us feel at home. Sorting the holiday with Vicki via e-mail was also nice and easy. It was lovely to have a welcome pack with the basics and few treats provided, and also having things like dishwasher and washing machine tablets so it wasn't necessary to go and buy some just for week's stay.

We also used the swimming pool which was lovely and would be warmer a little later in the year. The heating for the swimming pool had only just been turned on (Holiday 30th March).

Thoroughly recommend the apartment and would certainly go back.

Gem of a property in a great location

My family of 3 children and 2 adults stayed for a week of bliss in this fantastic property. The penthouse is decorated to a very high standard with every convenience catered for. If you are hoping for the luxury of a 5 star hotel then you won't be disappointed! The views are exactly as described and the grounds and building are immaculate. As mentioned by other reviewers Ivan is a really welcoming and friendly host who couldn't do enough to help us. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

Great location. Beautiful, clean, modern interiors. Quiet and private. Panoramic balcony with 360 degree view of the ocean from every room. 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom.

Central location. You can walk to most of the restaurants and markets (10 to 20 mins) or drive to it in less than 5 mins. Of course, you may spend an additional 10 to 20 mins searching for a parking space once you get there.

Absolutely enjoyed the stay at La Bastide.

We flew into Milan and drove to the Cote d'Azure. So, parking space was a must. La Bastide had a plenty of parking inside the private gate.

The property manager, Ivan Faudet was absolutely fantastic. He speaks excellent English but if you want to practice your French, he will of course work with you. As for the security deposit , I gave him a cash deposit when we were checking in. He returned all of it promptly when we were checking out assuming you did not trash the place or damaged anything.

Juan Les Pins is great place. You can either spend the entire vacation there and surrounding Antibes and have a quiet vacation or use it as a central location to have day trips to the surrounding areas like we did if you have a car, like we did. We took day trips to Avignon, Aix en Provence, Nice, Monaco, and Cannes. The best restaurant by far for us was at l'aubergine, a small family run restaurant. We had our Christmas Eve, prix fixe dinner there. 4 course meal with a bottle of wine for 4 of us. 180 euros. Very reasonable price for a fantastic meal.

We recommend La Bastide without any reservation.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in La Bastide. The flat is private and location perfect. The balcony has magnificent views of Antibes in one direction and Juan les Pins in the other. Ivan, the local manager, is charming, speaks excellent English and is at the end of phone if you have any issues or need any advice. In many respects what sets this flat apart from other flats we have stayed in is the attention to detail e.g the soaps in the bathroom, tissues etc. It is what you might expect in a top hotel but with the feeling of a home. The negative is that you do not want to leave!

Best view of the cote d'Azur

Cet appartement a la plus belle vue de la côte d'azur! La terrasse de 360 degrés est fantastique et permet de suivre le soleil toute la journée. Le confort de l'appartement est extraordinaire et tout est de 1ère qualité. Le service à la remise des clefs et au retour des clefs est digne d'un hôtel 5 étoiles. Les commerces sont si proches que vous pouvez aller chercher vos croissants et être de retour avant que votre café ne refroidisse. Notre famille a passé un excellent séjour et nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir.
