AWESOME Getaway!!!

  • 5 of 5

This Home Is located in the perfect spot.... The views of the lake from the windows as your relaxing by the fire are INCREDIBLE! I am a mother of 3 children 4 and under and to be able to just getaway this is the place to go..Sometimes life is just so hectic and to be at this home was just what my family needed.. The girls got to ice skate on the lake, make smores, eat lots of snacks and hang out while dad got to ride his quad.. We not only got to be with our family, but good friends came along. It was like heaven and we can't wait to go back... The day we had to leave we were all very sad to come home..

Thanks again for a great getaway!!

A peace of Heaven!!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in July 2010, This place was heaven, quiet, clean, peaceful, the views down the lake are amazing, the sunsets with the camp fire was more than I could ever imagine.

This is the perfect place to get away from it all.

I have to thank Jeff and Barb for sharing this amazing place with others, your hospitality is greatly appreciated.

took a day and hiked up to Hope falls, 15 minutes away, took another day and went fishing up to Mason Pond, it was beautiful, the loons were amazing.

I would recommend staying here to everyone, trust me they will see us again next year.

thank you

Lynn and Paul

Amazing Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week last summer, we had a great time. The waterfront is great for small kids, the dock is great for parking boats, and the private cove makes it safe for water sports. The house was so cute! We had plenty of room for everyone and guests! I would highly recommend this to any family or any couple for a romantic get away.

Wonderful/Peaceful Time

  • 5 of 5

My husband, two teenage sons, and I had one of the best vacations we ever had. The lakefront home was beautiful and very comfortable. We rented a boat and had a great time tubing. The lake is very quiet and canoe/kayacking is great. I could not wait to wake up every morning to see the mirror image of the sun rise over the mountains. The boys went fishing every day and we had a camp fire every night. A great time for all and well worth the 8 hour drive!

Best location on the lake

  • 5 of 5

This was the most relaxing vacation we've had. Lake Algonquin is a very quiet lake. My grandchildren enjoyed tubing and were sometimes the only people on the lake. They swam, fished, fed the ducks including 5 little ducklings and played volleyball on the side lawn. Their ages ranged from 5-13 so swimming was even good for the 5 yr. old, being able to walk in from the shore. The house was great with a wonderful screened in porch where we all ate.. There were 9 of us and we rented the house and the apt. above the garage. The girls loved the kids room with room for all 4 of them. We drove to Speculator for shopping. The patio area has adirondack chairs and a fire pit that we enjoyed each night. The home is nicely furnished and decorated. The property owners were great to work with and called a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. We didn't go to eat but I did notice a few local restaurants. I would recommend this propery and might return another year.
