Superb Apartment Overlooking Pool-Sleeps 4

A superb, privately owned one bedroom apartment in Fairways Club Amarilla. The roomy apartment overlooks the heated pool and pool bar and is ideally suited to families or couples. Sleeping a maximum of 4 people the apartment has 2 single beds and a large, comfortable, pull out double sofa bed in the living area.

The living area has small flat screen TV with a mix of British channels BBC, ITV, etc. along with some Spanish and German channels. There is also a DVD player with a small selection of films and plenty of books and games should you wish to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave washing machine, dishwasher and is well stocked with kitchenware and utensils. The apartment also has a breakfast bar and outside table and chairs for alfresco dining. All rooms are equipped with Ceiling fans. The apartment has great views over the pool and complex, particularly handy if you wish to keep an eye the children from the terrace area.

Fairways is a quiet and secure gated complex built in Andalusian village style. There are sub tropical gardens with a waterfall and resident turtles and an immaculate heated & lifeguard monitored swimming pool. The accommodation and resort are ideal for families and those seeking a quiet haven in which to relax.

On site there is a fabulous Island pool bar run by Darren and his wife Zoe serving breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, burgers etc and is open late on a Sunday and Wednesday serving evening meals, in addition to this there is The Palms restaurant serving good quality food all day and AC Woodenspoons also serving food and providing evening entertainment. Car Hire, Bliss Beauty Services and a Supermarket are also on site. Additional restaurants and bars, such as The Terrace, are adjacent to the complex

There is free, professionally organised children's entertainment available most days in peak season and an outdoor child's play area with safety flooring, slides, climbing frame, swing, ping pong , table football, pool tables and occasionally a bouncy castle.

Although the apartment is privately owned, Fairways Reception can be used to help organise excursions and offer money changing services. There is also a Taxi rank directly opposite the complex.

Welcome Packs: If you are arriving 'out of hours' when the Supermarket is closed we can arrange to have a welcome pack for you. There will be tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, bread, butter etc, plus maybe a bottle of wine to make sure your holiday gets off to a great start. We can also organise a meet and greet service from the airport and your driver will help you with your luggage and show you round the apartment.

Hi Lee and Nicola. Just a quick note to say we have really enjoyed our stay in your apartment. We have never stayed in Amarilla/Golf de Sur area before tending to stay in Los Cristianos, however being out of the Las Americas/Cristianos area was a welcome change as it meant we could enjoy the sun with a bit more peace and quiet and when we wanted to go to the busier areas we either jumped in a taxi (20Euro) or used the hire car.



The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped and was nice and cool if we wanted to head up from the poolside for some lunch. The apartment had everything you would expect, although we didn't use the dishwasher :-)) We found the Island Bar is great for drinks, lunch snacks etc. and we tended to walk to the marina area where there is a few restaurants, San Blas in Golf de Sur or Los Abrigos where the fresh fish restaurants are excellent, or have dinner on the terrace with a few glasses of wine.



A very relaxing holiday, an ideal base for couples or a family. Hopefully we can use the apartment again soon.

Very clean and nicely furnished

We had two weeks at this property which was very nice. There are steps up to the front door which could be a problem for those with limited mobility but was fine for us. My only criticism was that there is an overhang which prevents direct sunshine on the balcony, but probably welcome in the height of the summer but not in March. The fridge did not have a freezer compartment which we found inconvenient but the owners actually installed a new fridge/freezer the day we were leaving. The complex itself is very nice and well kept and whilst we did not use it very much ourselves, the cafe at the pool is very good. We have stayed in this area before and only minus is that the bus does not run close by and you have to walk either up the road near the medical centre for a bus or go into Golf del Sur proper. We arranged for the owners to meet us at the airport and they were very welcoming. If the points mentioned are not a problem then I would definitely recommend this property

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : at 5 Kilometres Car: recommended

The Amarilla Estate is situated on the southern Costa del Silencio coast about a 10 minute taxi ride (£10) from the airport. It is perfectly situated midway between the airport and lively tourist areas of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas. Fairways is a small private development self contained with a friendly village atmosphere. Built in Andulucian style it is situated in the middle of two lush championship golf courses.

San Miguel Marina

The San Miguel marina situated at the bottom of Amarilla golf in Tenerife is the latest Tenerife marina; it offers 344 berths of between ten and twenty metres and a host of water sport activities as well as the normal services expected from Tenerife marinas. One of the most popular spots in the marina San Miguel is the upper deck café at the entry to the marina, this gives a fabulous view of the sea and the instantly recognizable Montana Roja by the airport, while looking inland you can see the fairways of Amarilla Golf and Country Club and of course El Teide.

The most spectacular of the activities on offer in the San Miguel Marina is the opportunity to experience the underwater world from the comfort and safety of a submarine. The Submarine Safari is a must for adults and children alike. For additional nearby dining experiences try some of the restaurants and bars in Golf de Sur. Tapas and Chill is receiving very good reviews along with the Rendezvous restaurant in Golf de Sur and there are also loads of eating places in the San Blas commercial area which will take 5 min. in a taxi to get to. Also locally recommended is the little fishing village of Los Abrigos for fresh fish restaurants and the evening market Tuesday 6-9pm.
