Spacious 4 bedroom villa with pool, jacuzzi, barbecue, near city center & beach

Palm Villa is a 4 bedroom comfortable modernized villa with spacious indoors and outdoors facilities.

The house is south facing and receives maximum sun exposure throughout the year.

The upper floor accommodation consists of three double bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom with shower, jacuzzi bath, toilet, bidet and 2 basins. There is also an additional toilet with basin and bidet and an entrance/lounge area. The upper floor has direct access to the pool area via an external staircase. It is also connected to the lower floor via an internal staircase.

The lower floor has a spacious entrance area, connected to this is the large lounge and dinning space, with direct access to the pool and patio areas. There is English TV provided. The master bedroom is located on the lower floor having its own shower room/toilet. There is an ample modern kitchen with laundry area. The kitchen is fully equipped with every modern accessory you may need for advanced cooking. The kitchen leads immediately on to the outdoor covered dining area which would easily seat up to 10 people and provides a nice shaded area to take refuge from the midday sun.

The lower patio and outdoor area provides access to the pool and outdoor kitchen/bar with a cold drink at arms reach. There is also an outdoor toilet/changing room, lounge and dining areas and a top of the line Weber gas barbecue.

The pool and terraces surrounding the pool benefit from total privacy.

Palm Villa is located in a generous, secluded and quiet plot of around 1000 m2, having an established garden. The outdoor space has been maximized to enjoy the Mediterranean outdoor lifestyle. The pool is quite special, it has an overflow perimeter that allows the water to be at the same level as the surrounding terrace. A jacuzzi capable of accommodating 6 people provides an overflow waterfall into the pool. The terrace surrounding the pool has an ancient olive tree and coco palms. Substantial, shaped cypress hedging gives you total privacy. It is south facing, getting the maximum possible sun exposure. There is generous space for the supplied sun beds. Directly off this terrace, is a modern exterior lounge-cum-dining area, complete with a kitchen/bar with all the mod cons, including a TV, etc. It has been designed to allow you to enjoy al fresco dining out by both day and night. There is a fantastic atmosphere at night with the ambient lighting and rainbow-lit jacuzzi.

The accommodation offers views of La Vallesa also known as “Valencia’s Lung”, a protected green area, great for nature walking or biking. This area is a Mecca to mountain biking. People come from far and wide with their bicycles to explore this beautiful area. There are direct links via bicycle track along the Turia river in to the center of town. Palm Villa has the ideal location for your Valencian holiday. It is situated in the leafy urbanization of La Canyada. This is the oldest and most prestigious urbanization in Valencia having very close communication with the airport and city centre as well as Valencia’s famous beaches. Our villa is within a short walk from La Canyada village centre and its tube stop with direct links to the city. Valencia’s historic centre is only a short trip away as are the local beaches, restaurants, night life and art scene. For those that like cycling, there are several options for local bicycle hire.

The local village offers a huge choice of restaurants, bars and shops including some fine dining!

We are located within 10 minutes’ drive from the airport, which means that car hire is not essential and that your holiday begins 10 minutes after leaving the airport.

Wi-Fi internet is an optional extra and it is charged at 25 Eur. We are located in an area that is very popular with mountain bikers and it is possible to follow the Turia river all the way in to the center of Valencia or explore the neighbouring areas. Valencia is bike friendly with cycle tracks and facilities aim to making it ideal for an easy biking experience. We can provide mountain bikes for hire. We had a great stay. The Villa is stunning and really well equipped. The pool and jacuzzi are great and the outdoor kitchen a great feature. 10 minutes walk from La Canyada metro link that takes you into Valencia. We had a fantastic holiday.

Fantastic Holiday Villa & Superb Rental Service

A group of 8 adults stayed here for a week in July 2017. Wow - what an excellent find. The villa had everything you could want and more. A super gas BBQ and outdoor kitchen/eating area was perfect and large enough for all. The villa itself was spacious and very well equipped, located just 15 minutes drive from the airport too. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were lovely with plenty of garden space for sunbathing and relaxing. An easy 15 minute stroll into the small Canyada with local eateries, bars and shops was very convenient and the train station was ideal for getting into the City centre in just half an hour. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return one day for another stay and to explore of what the area has to offer. The service provided was great - very quick response and simple check in and out. Everything was made super easy, thank you Paul and Gemma!

Amazing place!

Abbiamo alloggiato presso Palm Villa in agosto 2016.

Siamo rimasti entusiasti del bellissimo ambiente, pulito ed accogliente.

Una struttura pratica da vivere e comoda da raggiungere, fuori dal traffico, ma allo stesso tempo ideale per raggiungere i bellissimi punti di interesse della zona.

La villa ha una cucina fornita di tutto ed una meravigliosa piscina ad uso personale.

Consigliamo questa villa a tutti i viaggiatori.

I proprietari Paul & Gema sono persone deliziose, ci hanno dato utilissime informazioni sul luogo dove ci trovavamo, da prendere come esempio per una vera ospitalità ed accoglienza: ci hanno preparato una Sangria strepitosa!

Amazing Stay at Palm Villa

We have just returned from our holiday at Palm Villa and it will stand out to be the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, it is clean and extremely well maintained, we wish we could pick it up and take it everywhere with us!

Paul and Gema are amazing hosts who looked after us extremely well and are there on hand should you need to call them . The little touches they add make it a really personal stay. Everything about the villa, the pool and outside area is superb. If it is possible we thought it was even better than the pictures! The outside kitchen really works and keeps you all together as a family. The Webber gas BBQ is amazing.

If we were to leave any feedback about getting around it would be this:

The walk up to the village and metro is about 15 minutes but each time we did it, it seems quicker. Behind the Metro station (ticket office side) you can walk through a park and there is a supermarket which is open all day. It offers everything you need for your self catering holiday and the fruit, veg and fish were gorgeous and fresh. (the accommodation has two shopping bags on wheels you can use)

The metro itself can take you anywhere you need to go. We brought the 10 trip ticket (11.40 euros) and once you have used 10 you just buy another ticket. The ticket machine is inside the ticket office, the English option didn't work but you press compare (to buy) then you choose your type of ticket (ie 10 trips) then your zones (we chose A&B as we just wanted to go in and out of Valencia City and visit Oceanografic).

To go to Valencia or Oceangrafic you need to be on the platform with the ticket office. You must swipe your ticket (one swipe per person) before you get on the metro as guards frequently check. That machine is just inside the ticket office.

Before we travelled we thought that we may need a car, but for us instead of spending 300 euros on a car + fuel + parking fees we spent 60e on taxi's to and from airport and 36e on metro for the week total 96euros! and we all enjoyed the experience.

A great holiday that offers a local village, nearby city of Valencia or stay in and have a pool day (pool and several sunbeds all to yourself~ perfect)

Out of the way. Nice pool and outdoor kitchen

If you're looking for a family get away - perfect. Except the stairs for older or little folk. The town is a sleepy suburban train stop, and not much to see. There is a full grocery store to stock up, but definitely rent a car. Think of the most mundane suburb where you're from. The beds aren't all that great, actually uncomfortable, but the outdoor kitchen and pool is an interesting set-up. The owners are available. They charge for Wi-fi.

Owner's Response: Over the past few years we have been very fortunate to have wonderful people staying at Palm Villa. We are sorry to hear that the bed that you slept in did not suit you. We have put in Pikolin mattresses which are the better brand here in Spain and we bought standard hardness which was designed to suit the widest possible group of people. Just like the Goldilocks scenario, it is difficult to accommodate for all preferences. We were surprised to hear that you found the village mundane. The majority of our clients found La Canyada to be a charming and convenient little Spanish Valencian village. People travel from Valencia city to take in the atmosphere and enjoy the local bakeries, organic vegetable shops, delicatessen and great restaurants. For most holiday makers, the village has everything they could want. There are even a couple of cocktail bars for those who want to have an after dinner drink and take in the atmosphere. For those looking for more activities, the metro will take you to the hart of Valencia city.

Perfect for relaxing in villa or sightseeing in Valencia

Just returned from a very relaxing stay at Palm Villa. As a family of four we found the downstairs outdoor living space had been well thought out with absolutely everything you needed. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. Cooling down, reading a book sitting in the pool on the steps was a joy!

Upstairs the bedrooms were pretty and also well equipped. The bathroom was large, modern and the bath was gorgeous.

Valencia is only a 20 minute trip away on the easily navigated Metro, we purchased a 10 trip ticket which you can top up when needed and use for whole family. You can ask for a small handy metro map at the station too. Lots to do and everyone enjoyed strolling around the old town and great view from the top of the tower next to the Cathedral. The best ice cream we have tasted can be found just down the road from the Cathedral. We also visited the beach and Marina via the Metro, fab beach and plenty of restaurants.

La Canyada itself has lots of bars for quick tapas, big supermarket and restaurants. The bakery was superb and we visited everyday!

Our hosts Paul and Gema were so helpful when needed and assisted us with booking taxis, local knowledge etc. wifi is also available at a small extra cost. We also enjoyed the sangria, thank you ..

We all came away happy and relaxed and will definately return to this wonderful oasis of peace and also to visit more of Valencia that we missed. Absolutely ideal villa to combine total chill out and sight seeing in Valencia.

La Canyada is the oldest urbanization in Valencia so it is very well established and it has its own village centre with local shops that are also open on Sundays. It is traditional for the Valencian people to come to La Canyada to do some Sunday local shopping at the delicatessens, excellent bakeries and butchers, take a walk down the leafy streets and often dine out.
