About the property

8 en-suite bedrooms, stand alone chalet, mountain views, great ski-ing

Chalet Kimberley is only seven years old and built in the Savoyard style. It is a stand alone chalet with great facilities. It is at the end of the Le Bettaix near the first Chairlift which takes you up and into Les Menuires - the starting point to the whole of this fantastic ski area, the Trois Vallees a vast domain of exploration and adventure!

The Village of Le Bettaix is situated in an awesome location offering excellent access to the Three Valleys; including Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Meribel, La Tania and the renowned, glamourous resort of Courchevel.

Chalet Kimberley nestles beautifully within the Savoyard atmosphere of Le Bettaix, a village that feeds from the main resort of Les Menuires. From the Chalet there are breath-taking views that exposes the sheer magnificence of Val Thorens, the highest village in Europe. To top it off, the beautiful River Doron also flows peacefully alongside the Chalet - picturesque perfection!

Sustenance lies at the heart of mountain enjoyment. At Chalet Kimberley, we recognise the importance of ski cuisine by treating our guests to locally sourced home cooked food.

Brekkie

Over the years Graeme has perfected the delicacy of 'brekkie', offering his famous creamy porridge, cereals, crusty bread, croissants, a daily cooked option, steaming cafetieres of coffee, pots of tea and fruit juice (phew!): The BEST way to start your mountain day.

Après-midi Munch

Whether you opt for a relaxing return by following the easy blue run back, or if après ski veers you off-piste, the crackling log fire and afternoon munchies (homemade cake/biscuits) are a welcoming end to your day of recreation and endurance.

Cocktail Hour.

We will then serve you a cocktail of the day in the hot tub whilst the warm water and bubbles soak away any aches from your busy day.

Dinner.

Finally, at 7.30 p.m.enjoy a tasty wholesome three course dinner; finishing with cheese and port in the living room.

The chalet has great facilities including outdoor hot tub, widescreen TV, DVD, DVD library, Games consoles and games, board games, books.

The chalet has free Wifi.

The chalet has parking for up to 3 cars.

We are owner run so standards are kept high. Great service and flexibility is our niche!

About Kim Trevallion

Ski Powder Pigs is a small ski chalet company owned and run by Kim and Graeme Trevallion. Some years ago we ditched the routine of 'mainstream' life to work and live in the mountains. From personal guidance on or off the mountain, to first class treatment within the winter abode, our service and knowledge provides a fresh winter indulgence for every guest who chooses the Ski Powder Pigs experience.

Holidaying just got extra easy!!

Why Kim Trevallion chose The Three Valleys

At Ski Powder Pigs we exceed the stereotype and offer a different kind of chalet holiday.

Having worked in the area for many years for others we decided that because of our passion for snowsports particularly in the Three Valleys and in particular the Belleville Valley, we would prefer to own and run a business ourselves thereby enabling us to offer the sort of holidays to guests where flexibility is the key. Also, being owner run our standards are constantly kept high and great service is our number one priority.

What makes this chalet unique

Chalet Kimberley has a great situation within the Belleville Valley. For us, we love the tranquility and authenticity of the village of Le Bettaix but love the fact that we are right in the heart of this awesome ski domain which can still boast that it is the largest linked ski domain in the World with over 650 kms of piste over 4 valleys.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hi Kim and Graham

Just a short note to thank you for looking after us last week. You could not have done enough to make our holiday experience any better. The food and accommodation was just what we needed. I will look into dates with my 21 year old son for the week of 8-15 March and revert if that fits with him.

So thank you again
