"El Jardín de la Palapa": Here it is possible to enjoy the silence, the sights to the sea and a few gardens full of style and captivation. Probably the mostly cosy corner is its elegant swimming pool and the outdoor lounge, inviting to enjoying languidly the sunny winter afternoons and the sunsets during the rest of the year. The swimming POOL is of YOUR EXCLUSIVE USE. The principal house is used by the owners only in summer, dates in which the house is not rented. The house that is to rent, is independent it has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, lounge, kitchenette and a beautiful terrace with outdoor furniture. The Estate has in addition, spectacular corners in which you will enjoy reading and the views to the sea. Free WiFi.

The gardens are absolutely spectacular, designed by one of the most well known designers of the Islands. There are many corners where you will like to seat: on the mirador with views to the sea, near the charming fontaine, on the tower up to your house, with all the views of the coast, of at the sitting room near the pool. There is weekly cleaning service included on the price, and also final cleaning included.

Notes:
This is an ideal place to take the advantage of the Canary Islands weather, which helps you to spend a lot of time sitting outdoor, including on winter time, where you can enjoy outdoor breakfasts or enjoy a cup of tea on the afternoon, as in winter it does not get dark until 19:00 h. From April, you can also have outdoor evening meals. But there are so many restaurants on the area, some sophisticated, but most of them simple ones -very reasonable prices- that you might like to enjoy them all.

Privacy, beauty, and peace.

This is a paradise which my wife and I shared for a peaceful 10 days. We enjoyed what we were looking for, privacy, peace and quiet, with just the pleasant sound of the sea in the background. The house and garden are the product of the care and imagination of Isabel and Antonio, they were kindness itself. We have never seen such a welcome pack like this. Definitely a special place shared by a lovely family (you have the place to yourself but they were very helpful when needed). Thank you.

My wife did her 40 mins each day in the pool, a bit too chilly for me, though. Our stay was at the end of November, with perfect weather (temp 23-25C each day).

Spectacular, stunning and immaculate

The pictures do not do justice to this villa, it is not until you arrive that you can truly see how wonderful it is. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner and made to feel at home and the welcome pack left for us Was exceptional. Everything is so well thought out for your stay and relaxation. The villa and grounds are immaculate and would certainly recommend to everyone

Fantastic, peaceful and tranquil

We needed a break from our busy lives. We work long hours as well as keeping many animals including four horses, so we needed a winter 'get a way' to re-charge ourselves. This accommodation has the 'wow' factor and highly recommended for a quiet rest. Isabel was most charming and friendly and gave us a guided tour of the grounds on arrival as well as a super welcome pack. Isabel recommended two restaurants in San Juan de la Rambla (about 3 miles away), try all three, all super. Where did the week go? Brilliant

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! It is funny to hear about the WOW factor as that it exactly our client´s reaction on arrival: I guess they don´t expect that big garden and views. Yes, Isabel is a fantastic guest, she really makes her best for our clients. This area is the best to eat, as we have the "real Tenerife" restaurants: fresh fish, tasty vegetables, local wine, those little potatoes with mojo sauce on the most charming traditional restaurants. The best relation between quality and price.

Paradise Holiday Heaven

Isabel and Antonio, the owners of this wonderful property, were charming. An amazing welcome pack with lots of local produce, including wine. The garden is a relaxing oasis, so peaceful and quiet, with lots of special places to watch and listen to the birds and a balcony overlooking the sea. The property was very clean and well equipped and the new kitchen/diner perfect for your evening meal. One of the best hoildays we've had in this part of the Canary Islands. Thank you Isabel and Antonio for allowing us to share your lovely summer home.

Amazing paradise

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and both enjoyed the quality of the house and most of all the incredible garden. Many many places to sit and relax and enjoy the total peace and quite. Just the birds and the sea to listen to.lovely owners met us showed us around and left us with a really nice welcome pack . Would definately return if we could choose the weather. Thanks so much.

Botanic Wonderland

We absolutely loved this place! Part of a much larger rural property, which the owners use as their summer retreat, we had the place to ourselves for 10 blissful days in late January. Of course, the beautiful (and perhaps not entirely typical!) winter weather helped, but notwithstanding, the secluded setting, stunning tropical gardens, peace & tranquility, and character accommodation all combined to make our stay very special indeed. And, all within easy reach of Puerto de la Cruz, and many other local attractions.

OK, a car is needed to get anywhere, the beautiful swimming pool is unheated, and the accommodation couldn't be called 5 star by any stretch of the imagination. However, these 'gripes' becomes somewhat irrelevant when counter-balanced against the truly unique nature of this wonderful property. Garden lovers particularly will be impressed with the flair and imagination that the owners have put into creating what can only be described as a tropical paradise, with an amazing variety of trees, shrubs, and hard landscaping that includes paved walkways throughout, an incredible array of pots, pithoi, and ornaments, and characterful garden buildings throughout.

On a more mundane level, the welcome grocery 'pack' left by the owners, which included wine, beer, fruit juice, bread, ham, cheese, and a huge bowl of [mainly] tropical fruit from the gardens, was also a much appreciated gesture. All in all, a wonderful and unique experience - highly recommended.
