The apartment Melnicka Mala Strana is located in the heart of the Lesser Town (called Mala Strana) which is the oldest district of Prague, founded in the Middle age, with dominant renaissance and baroque styles, on a quiet street , in walking distance from the famous Charles bridge, Prague castle, National theatre and other sights. Near the river bank with its pleasant Kampa park. This is the romantic and beautiful district of Prague! There are many good restaurants, taverns, jazz-bar and cafes in the vicinity.

You can discover and enjoy the city centre by walking directly from this location and access to all tourist sites. Shopping center with Tesco about 7 min walk.

You don’t need to live like a tourist while you visit Prague; you can live in a real apartment in the centre of town.

Wonderful apartment--charming, convenient and spotless!

I have stayed in many rental properties and this apartment tops the list! So convenient to everything...tram, city center, shops, and restaurants. Immaculate from top to bottom. Nadia was wonderful to deal with and even made herself available during my stay in the event I needed anything. When I arrived I was greeted by Lena who helped me get settled and gave me " the lay of the land!" I definitely plan on returning to Prague and my first call will be to Nadia to rent out her property again!

Quiet street in great neighborhood walking distance everywhere on both sides of the Charles Bridge

We are an active senior couple who spent 4 nights in this great apartment while visiting the many sites Prague is famous for.We were also 3 minutes from a wonderful restaurant, Pastar, that was a culinary highlight during our stay. The owner, Nadia and her representative Elena were extremely attentive to all questions and most accommodating, including assisting us with getting a reasonably priced taxi to the airport upon our departure. The combined dining area/living room is large and well furnished as is the bedroom. Easily a place to spend more than 4 days in. Very comfortable. Public transport is less than a block away. Small and large grocery stores all within an easy 3-10 minute walk. The Charles bridge is also very close; our favorite walking route was through a large riverside park area. We highly recommend both this apartment and the Mala Strana area of Prague.

Highly recommend!!

Surprisingly spacious apartment, comfortable in every way. I would stay here again.

Listing description is accurate, and photos show the apartment well. It's on the ground floor, with two large rooms - a bedroom, and a living room with a sofa-bed and a chair bed. Beautiful high ceilings!! The kitchen is very small, not really suitable for cooking large meals, but for coffee, breakfast, and snacks it is perfect.

The property is very clean, and the agent is extremely helpful: she met us on arrival, helped orient us to a local restaurant and explained how to use the tram system, and also offered to arrange our cab ride back to the airport at the end of our stay (which she did). She was also available via email/text for questions that arose.

The apartment is very near to Petrin Hill; it's about a 20 minute walk to Old Town, about 10 minutes to the National Theater. The 22 tram that will take you up the hill to the castle and cathedral goes right near the apartment as well. Nearby are several good restaurants, including the Cafe Savoy, which is a famous bakery/breakfast locale (they also serve other meals). We found that eating near the apartment was generally much cheaper than in the more touristy areas. There are also several small convenience stores about a block away for milk, coffee, fruit, etc, and a Tesco not far if you want a more ambitious shopping.

The street is quiet, but very safe. We loved Prague and I would definitely stay in this apartment again if I returned; the rent was very reasonable compared to a hotel, and it was nice to have a bit more space for our family.

Amplio, cómodo y muy bien ubicado

Ante todo, quiero agradecer a Nadia por su buena predisposición al reservar el apartamento, y para acercarme por email todo los datos prácticos que yo le solicitaba sobre Praga, antes de llegar. Además, Nadia lee y habla muy bien castellano.

También al llegar, una colaboradora de Nadia, una joven encantadora llamada María, nos estaba esperando con todo lo necesario, incluso se había anotado frases de bienvenida y explicativas en castellano, para que desde un principio nos sintiéramos como en casa. Todo esto, debido a que yo les había avisado que si bien hablo francés, mi dominio del ingles es pobre.

El apartamento es amplísimo, con habitaciones muy acogedoras, incluso el living tiene un sofá que puede ser usado como cama (por lo que pienso que cuatro personas pueden habitarlo, con absoluta comodidad).

Ante una duda con la lavadora, María se comunicó con Nadia para que nos explicara su funcionamiento en castellano.

Además, está muy bien ubicado, en una calle tranquila, para nada ruidosa, en el barrio de Malá Strana, a pocos pasos del funicular que sube al parque Petrin, y a pasos de uno de los puentes sobre el Moldava.

Lo que quiero resaltar es que no está en esas zonas de Praga invadida constantemente por hordas de turistas; pero está a unos pasos de lo mejor de la ciudad. Casi no tuvimos que usar el transporte público.

Por último, un detalle muy importante, y que muestra la buena disposición de los propietarios. Como teníamos que dejar el apartamento muy temprano por la mañana, y María no podía llegar tan temprano, no nos retuvo el monto de 200 euros de reserva que debía devolvernos al nosotros partir, y confió en que dejaríamos todo en orden y como nos lo habían entregado.

Muchas gracias, Nadia y María. Nuestra estadía en la bella e inquietante Praga fue de lo mejor!!!

appartement agréable et spacieux

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable à Prague et l'appartement que nous a proposé Nadia y contribue en grande partie. Celui-ci est en effet idéalement situé, dans une rue calme au coeur de la ville donc pas besoin d'utiliser les transports en commun; une bonne paire de baskets suffit !
