The Lemon Tree Villa, Paestum: Seaside, Huge Garden And Parking Facilities

The Lemon Tree Villa is located in Paestum on the Cilento Coast. Paestum is a world heritage, archaeological site. Located two minutes walk from the beach, you can easily access the free beach and two seaside resorts equipped with umbrella, lounges and deck chairs. The beach is a broad beach with fine sand. The Tyrrhenian sea has minimal tidal change and winds are exceptionally mild in summer, and it is exquisitely peaceful in the morning at sunset.
It is the ideal place for switching off and enjoying the seaside. The nearest shops are a few minutes walk (for groceries, new agents and convenience store). Alternatively, a 5 minutes drive will take you in Localita' Torre, the village centre with a good choice of shops, mozzarella factories and restaurants.

You will find the villa to be spacious and bright, with an ample patio, a delightful garden and a first-floor terrace. The villa was renovated in 2010 and features a modern and open plan design creating a continuum between the inside and the outdoor space. There is plenty of space for personal privacy and relaxation.

INDOOR
The house is divided in two-storey, with the internal décor of hand-painted majolica from the nearby Amalfi Coast featured throughout.
The West-facing lounge has large French doors opening directly onto the patio and the garden.
The kitchen comprises of a gas hob, electric oven, fridge-freezer, indoor table and chairs, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and several sizes Moka, toaster and various utensils. The kitchen has direct access onto a covered patio. The patio is furnished with an outdoor table and chairs and has a ceiling fan.
Facing East and less exposed to the afternoon sun is the reading room accessible from the lounge. There is an ample choice of books in English Italian and French. There are some children's books.
The ground floor offers a large bathroom with shower and small utility room with washing machine and storage space.
On the first floor are located the four double bedrooms accommodating eight guests and three bathrooms. Of these two have the en suite bathroom. All bedrooms have large wardrobes and chest drawers.
The master bedroom (Master Bedroom 1) -East facing- looks over a lovely palm tree through a small balcony and has an en suite bathroom. It has an ensuite bathroom, double bed, a wardrobe and chest drawer.
The second master bedroom (Master Bedroom 2) with double bed, ensuite bathroom, large closet ad chest drawer is west facing and has access to the first-floor terrace.
The double bedroom (bedroom 3) is also west facing, with access to the large terrace, has twin beds and a large closet and chest drawer. The fourth double bedroom has twin beds, a very large wardrobe and east facing the window. There is a bathroom on the main corridor. All bathrooms have a shower and a radiator.
There is wi-fi throughout the property.

OUTDOOR
The house is surrounded by a paved area, providing ample parking at the front of the house (facing the road) and a sun-kissed patio on the West façade (referred as the back of the house). There are a patio and a terrace with sunshades. The vast garden is furnished with deckchairs, table and chairs for al fresco dining. The patio has a ceiling fan. BBQ is provided.

You may want to spend the entire day outdoors from having your breakfast on the outdoor dining table to the evening barbeque.
The garden offers a serene retreat from the afternoon sun, and you may want to enjoy your siesta on the lounges and chairs provided. The sunshades with electric controls are effortless to use. In the evening the garden comes to life with its discrete lighting.
The lawn and the walls are regularly treated to prevent mosquitos and insects for your comfort.

This Villa is a self-catering accommodation. We thoroughly clean the house and the garden before you arrive and after you leave. During your stay, cleaning can be arranged at your request at an additional cost with a local cleaning company (Costs 10 Euros per hour per cleaner 2015).

Villa parfaite
A recommander absolument.

A beautiful well equipped villa
We spent a wonderful week in Paestum. House is really nice, very clean and well equipped with a spacious shaded terrace, surrounded by a private beautiful garden. It is ideally placed, just a short (5 minute walk) to beautiful beaches and close to the village. The owner, Erika, was exceptionally helpful and obliging. We strongly recommend this place!

Total bliss for any taste
I spent the whole of July 2016 in this house with a friend and 3 kids. We booked it on Internet and pre-paid before arrival. From the moment we booked the house, there had been excellent communication with the owners, who were very helpful, warm, professional and spoke perfect English. The house is a 2-hour drive from Napes airport or about 5 minutes’ drive from Paestum train station. The house actually looks much better in real life, as compared to the photos posted on internet (which are already very good). It is a light, spacious and newly renovated 2-level building, fully equipped with anything you might wish for and even more. It has a modern security alarm system and an iron gate, which might be quite comforting for paranoid people like myself. Realistically however, the location is extremely calm and friendly, so no need for the security system anyway. The house is in a super-tidy condition, all beds and pillows are new, good quality bed-linen and towels were provided for all of us. It has WiFi, Air-conditioning, dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven, fridge and freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, vacuum cleaner, TV, DVD and all sorts of other gadgets, like coffee makers, blenders for smoothies, mixers, pots and pans and much more. The house has an immaculate garden which is regularly and perfectly maintained. We were actually allowed to pick the lemons from the trees in the garden! There were other goodies available for picking: chilli-peppers, basil, rosemary, parsley, celery etc. This added a massive charm to our stay! The garden had a coal Weber BBQ and an outdoors shower. The beach is 100 meters away. The water is quite shallow close to the shore, which was brilliant for kids, who spent hours there and hardly needed to be supervised. The beach is clean, sandy and calm. There is a possibility of renting sunbeds, boats, jet skis etc. There are full-time BeachGuards every 500 meters, as well as cafés that offer drinks or snacks. The house is a short drive from Paestum city centre. There are several small fruit and veg shops within walking distance, as well as a butcher and a fish monger. Big supermarkets are a short drive away. It is possible to survive without a car, if one seeks total relax. On the other hand, the house is a perfect base for sightseeing trips and there are plenty of magnificent jewels that one should not miss: Amalfi, Sorrento, Salerno, Capri, Agropoli, Castellabate, Pompei and Vesuvious are all nearby.

a must see place!
Outstanding property including all you can ever think of! Lovely and quiet surroundings with the piano player practicing next door giving it a distinctive touch. The whole house was so neat and clean on our arrival. We really appreciated the air conditioning upstairs for peaceful nights. Enough playroom affordable for children to play outside while late night dinner is gently cooking over the barbecue. As mythical and unforgettable as Paestum.
