About this property

Enjoy this lovely treed one acre property just a stones throw to the lake. Contemporary 3 bedroom , 3 bath home with all the amenities you would expect in a vacation home. Sit back and take in the exceptional lake vistas from the large deck or dine el fresco on our side patio shaded by the cedar trees. We have a semi private tennis court next door with basketball hoop.

Home away from home

We had a wonderful month at this home. The beds were comfortable, the view amazing, we’d frequent the local dock to cool off. Sonya and John (and Oscar) made sure we had privacy and helped immediately with any concerns. The property is amazing and we even enjoyed some tennis and basketball on the court! Thank you so much and we would definitely stay again.

This was the second time we have stayed in this beautiful house. This time, too, we can only say: it's just great. Sonya is just warm and lovely. She takes care of everything you need. The house is wonderful , clean and wonderfully located. We can say with certainty: we were not there for the last time... we would like to come back as soon as possible! thank you Sonya for the great time.

Excellent time

The house was exactly as described and was lots of room for the 8 of us. When we arrived Sonya was great to deal with and she even left a bottle of wine on the table. Would definitely stay again.

4.5 stars! Peaceful, clean & large house with fantastic views of the lake!

Sonya was fantastic to deal with and patiently answered all of my family's questions! The house is quite remote and very peaceful, with lots of deer roaming ! The views of the lake are amazing & we all loved our stay. We were 3 couples and 2 children. The adults each had their own room and bathroom and the kids had a pull out in the TV room which has a door to close off from the kitchen/living room, which was great because the adults could stay up at night without disturbing the children. The downside was that none of the tables were for 8, so we had to add patio chairs to the corners of the outdoor table and the indoor dining table is very small. It wasn't a huge issue for us, but a larger dining table and on the deck with the view would be perfect! We were able to make it work fine as we had 2 children in our group, but 8 adults would make it tight. The beds were all comfortable and although the house isn't modern, it was very clean and the bathrooms upstairs have all been modernized. Tons of storage space, great walk-in closets upstairs. The bedroom on the main level is small &the main level bathroom is dated, but all fully functional. There are lots of outdoor patio chairs which was perfect for us as we spend lots of time on the big deck overlooking the lake! Another lounger would be perfect though! The amenities list should include hairdryers, no dvd player, but cable/Netflix&some beach towels so that people don't need to ask. There were lots of bath towels too. Unfortunately, there were no full-length mirrors in the house, so for anyone renting to go to a wedding or event, this could be an issue. The house is close to some beaches, but the closest one we went to was actually private and the owner asked us where we had come from as he never sees people there usually?! We walked a little further down the road where it said "beach access" but there was no beach, only rocks/lake access, which was ok for us as we just wanted to go swimming, but take note if you're looking for a place that is walking distance to a beach as this property is driving distance to nice beaches, but not walking. The lake is fantastic to swim in! Overall it was a great stay and we definitely recommend the house. There's lots of space for a group to not be on top of each other and be able to relax in separate areas, both inside & out. Thank you Sonya! p.s I'd love to see the house come with instructions for recycling to encourage all guests to recycle properly

Perfect Oasis

This home has spectacular views of the Okanagan Lake from every room! One can relax in the sun on the huge deck and enjoy eagles overhead, deer nearby or relax in the garden area in the shade. The bedrooms have views of the lake too. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is close to restaurants, gas station, grocery stores, golf courses and attractions. The community is lovely and quiet too. Sonya is a hands on host. She was readily available to answer any of our questions. We have stayed at many house rentals, and this one is tops in our books. We would highly recommend staying here.
