2 Spacious Bedrooms And Roof Terrace With Amazing Views

This charming townhouse is situated in the design award-winning Colina Branca urbanisation, a total of 26 houses and 6 apartments close to the centre of Carvoeiro.

The entrance from the covered car port leads into the spacious living room, which has a fitted fireplace stove, sofa, dining table and chairs, satellite TV and DVD player. Sliding patio doors lead out to a large south facing terrace/balcony with barbecue, dining table and chairs, and sun loungers.

The kitchen has fridge/freezer, washing machine, gas hobs/electric oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc, plus all cutlery and crockery needs.

A marble spiral staircase leads down to two spacious double bedrooms – each with it’s own small balcony – and both with very large fitted wardrobes. One bedroom has twin beds, an en-suite shower room and W.C. The other has a double bed.

In addition, this year a very large storage area has been converted into a third bedroom which is equal to, or bigger than a standard double bedroom. It accommodates a single bed and a new, adult sized folding bed, bedside table, dressing table etc., so the house can now easily accommodate six adults.

The large main bathroom has bath and shower, double wash-hand basins and bidet

Back up to the living room – from here a marble spiral staircase leads up to a roof terraced area with turret from which there are stunning 360 degree views of Carvoeiro and the sea. This is a lovely peaceful place to sit and relax with a beer or wine!

There is a large well maintained communal pool down two levels.

Our townhouse is some 300 metres from Carvoeiro centre and town beach. It has the advantage of being very quiet yet centrally located. It is downhill to the centre, and an uphill walk back. When we feel particularly lazy or overfed, taxis from the town beach take us home for a few Euros.

Why Diane chose Carvoeiro area

We stayed in Caravela a few times on vacation and loved its charm and clever design. In fact we liked it so much that we bought it when the opportunity arose! It's in a quiet location, yet close to the ocean and all the restaurants and facilities

What makes this house unique

The clincher for us was the turreted top terrace with the 360 degree views of land and sea. For a feeling of well-being while sitting there it's hard to beat. The large terrace off the living room was another 'hook' and the coolness of the bedrooms - both downstairs - is a real plus.

Spacious and well looked after town house, very clean and well equipped.

The house is in a good position on a small well looked after development. Nice views from both the lower and upper balcony. Very easy to walk into the town, although the uphill return might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The brand new kitchen and shower room are lovely, and we enjoyed being able to barbecue. A very enjoyable place to stay.

A Great place to stay in Carvoeiro this comfortable, lovely townhouse in Colina Branca is perfect.

Following a warm welcome from the property manager and receipt of a pack containing the basic essentials, water, bread, cheese, milk etc we toured our temporary home and were extremely pleased with what we found. A nice lounge, excellent bedrooms, one is en suite and each bedroom has good storage. There is another good bathroom and lovely terrace areas and a stunning view of the sea and over the town below, from the roof. Diane the owner is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Coupled with a fair price, great accommodation and a splendid location this is a great place to book for a holiday and we will certainly book again. On a practical note you need to be reasonably fit to get up the hill or the stairs to the townhouse but don't let this put you off.Taxis are reasonably cheap or you can reach the house by taking a longer but easier route. Carvoeiro is a lovely little place with great restaurants, bars, music venues, a great beach and there are plenty of other things to do such as golf and great walks. This townhouse and Carvoeiro are highly recommended. The only disappointment is having to leave to do home. Thank you Diane. Terry and Jane.

Paradise

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Colina Branca, Casa da Caravela for the month of March 2017. It fit our every need. We found it to be tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the touches of local pottery. The kitchen was well equipped with various pots for cooking as well as dishware. The beds were comfortable and the heated mattress pads if needed were an extra bonus.

Beautiful view of Praia Do Carvoeiro as well as the surrounding area. Lots of windows made the unit bright and cheery! The deck off the living room offered both sun and shade.

We enjoyed being so close to the down town. Maybe too close at times once we found "Fabrica Velha" - fresh baked goods!!!! We had the option of taking a few flights of stairs or the roadway. After dining out it was a welcomed walk back.

We had some friends join us during part of our stay. They loved it as much as we did.

This was our fourth trip to the Algarve - Carvoeiro coming from Ontario Canada. We considered Casa da Caravela to be our top choice for accommodation.

Fabulous location

The house was very high up the hill from the coast so had fab views of the town & sea. The house its selfe was lovely. Very spacious,bright & clean Our host even had ,milk,bread,butter,cheese & cold meat for us on arrival which we really appreciated.

I would definitely go to this house again when in Carvoeiro and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Thanks for helping to make our holiday great.

Perfect Portugal, Exceptional Villa, Fab Holiday!

This is the third time we have stayed in this villa and we were not disappointed. We holiday with another couple for a week and the villa is so well appointed, with all we could need. It is beautifully maintained and the facilities are superb. Nothing has been overlooked. The property manager Kevin met us on arrival, a generous welcome pack was provided, and all information you need is in the folder in the villa. The maid Anna Rosa visits every weekday to keep things neat as a pin. The owner, Diane is so helpful and deals with all aspects of the booking so efficiently.The en-suite bathroom has been renewed and has the wow factor. The villa feels like home: the large terrace is perfect for sitting out and dining or enjoying a drink, or relaxing in the sun. The smaller roof terrace is a great place for a quiet cuppa to watch the sun rise or a chance to gaze at the night sky. The pool for the complex is lovely and like the communal areas beautifully maintained. (The only complaint here is the inconsiderate people who do not use the showers provided prior to entering the pool). The showers and toilets at the pool have been renewed and are beautifully clean and there are sufficient loungers, parasols and tables provided for comfort.There is so much to see and do in Carvoeiro itself and the surrounding area offers something for everyone. There are numerous bars and restaurants in Carvoeiro itself. We dined out every evening bar one in Carvoeiro and enjoyed our meals. We had lunch out in various places in the surrounding area and again were impressed. This is the 3rd holiday we have had here at this time of year with our friends and we have loved every minute. It really is a gem and I would give it 10 stars if I had the option. The only concern I have about recommending it, is that it will be fully booked and I won't get back. I speak for all our party when I say this villa is an absolute gem!
