Why rent a cramped room when you can enjoy an entire home with private outside living as well? Our historical property is nettled on a tree lined road and is available year round. The warm inviting charm and character of this home has guests returning year after year. You will feel immediately at home in this recently renovated cozy 1936 craftsman brimming with charm and modern conveniences. It is located less than one hour from the East Gate of Yellowstone and just a few blocks from main street Cody where you will find many fine restaurants, museums and shops.

After a busy day, you will truly enjoy this peaceful setting. The home has a warm and inviting sun porch with window seat just waiting for you to curl up and read a book, or take a cat nap. The backyard is boarded by a privacy fence, beautiful mature landscaping and peaceful courtyard. The wood deck has comfortable patio furniture with cushions and gas grill.

The home is beautifully decorated with western artwork and photos. Natural light streams into the attractively decorated living room. Enjoy the 54" HD flat screen Smart TV while you relax on the comfortable furniture. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen awaits you should you like to brew a cup o'joe or prepare a delicious meal.

The inviting master suite with original wood floors, millwork and luxurious linens will lull you to sleep. The large full bathroom including the original footed tub is perfect for a relaxing soak.

The second bedroom sports two twin beds with adjoining shower and water closet. The sofa in the living room is a double hide away bed with linens provided upon request.

The unit also includes a delightful dining room with views of the spacious back yard. Often times you will see mule deer meandering through the property.

You won't have to worry about running out of clothes while you are on vacation - as the property includes a washer and dryer for your convenience.

This rental home is more suited to families with school-aged children. We don't recommend this home to families with crawling infants or toddlers.

Cool Cody Craftsman

This lovingly restored and updated Craftsman home, was an awesome base for our exploration of the area and adventures to Yellowstone. Very comfortable and just too cute. Accurately described in the listing. Manager communicated well. Great experience overall.

Cozy Craftsman

This house is so cute! We felt right at home from the minute we stepped inside. We were greeted with a bouquet of fresh flowers, muffins for breakfast, and even my favorite candy in the candy dish! It is decorated in a cowboy/western theme. It was extremely clean and had everything you could possibly need. it is close to Sheridan Ave. and is in a quiet neighborhood. We even saw a doe and her two babies in the yard. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Cody again.

Terrific Spot

This house is wonderful. Beautifully redone with all the charm of the West. Walkable to anywhere in Downtown to the Cody Museum. Four were very comfortable. And the hosts had everything you could imagine. Will plan on staying there again if/when we return.

Reprieve

A beautiful place, well kept, up to date and very charming. Close to all the things we wanted to do. I would recommend it highly. The host, Shari, is very helpful, and organized. The binder explained all the things available in the area with maps and suggestions. Definitely recommend to stay here to anyone who is looking for the feeling of being at home.

We fell in love with the Classic Cody Craftsman, the day we walked in to view it. It reminded us of our grandma's place with many fond memories. The folks in Cody are very friendly and warm. We are certain you will enjoy the property as well as the town and surrounding sites during your vacation. The Cody Chamber of Commerce keeps a current calendar of events in the area, which is a great source since the calendar is updated regularily.

Why they chose this property

This property immediately "spoke" to us. We immediately felt at ease and liked the fact that while the home is located on a quite street, and that it is located just a few blocks from Sheridan, the main street running through Cody. There is so much to see and do, or just relax at home.

What makes this property unique

The home's original mill-work, glass door knobs takes us back to memories spent with our grandparents. We felt as though we were stepping back to a simpler time. It is very peaceful and beautiful.

Canal Park is a pretty scenic area to hike very close to the property. The Paul Stock Aquatic and Recreation Center is very close as well. It offers an aquatic water slide, lap, leisure and therapy pools, BB courts, Pickle Ball courts, Exercise equipment, Jacuzzi spa, Racket Ball Courts, a suspended track, many exercise classes (Yoga, Cross Fit, etc.) are offered as well as child care at selected times. Call 307-587-0400 for more information. Cody has two local breweries within walking distance of the CCC. Spring/Summer activities may include: Ziplining, River Rafting, Fly Fishing, Old Trail Town, Yellowstone National Park, Scenic drive - Chief Joseph Highway, Nightly Rodeo June-August, Putt-Putt golf, Olive Glen Golf and CC, paddle boarding, bike trails, Music in the Park, quad rentals for off road adventures, McCullough Peaks to view wild horses and much more. Winter activities include: skiing or boarding Sleeping Giant, or Red Lodge, Ice Climbing, Snowmobiling, Ice Arena, Snow Shoeing, Cross Country Skiing, The Quake Hockey games. The Cody Chamber of Commerce is an excellent source for a current calendar of events.
