Stroll through Chelsea at high noon and you'll spot a host of colourful characters trotting between its upscale boutiques and modern galleries. But in West 20th Townhouse, life lilts at a much more laid-back pace. Here there’s a wonderfully eclectic mix of Victorian architecture and wild decorative touches – from the inflatable cactus and tepee in the bunk bedroom, to the bronze, brown and blue tiles of the kitchen. The long dining table is particularly rustic, its thick wood painted mint-green and set with ten mismatched chairs. Indeed, with the walls sunshine-hued, here you’ll feel thoroughly welcomed as you set up camp.

The den is located in the basement. As there is no wardrobe in the master bedroom, guests will be provided with a hanging rail for their use. This home features a private deck and garden. As this is a much loved and lived in home, guests may find that it is a bit worn in places. The TV in the double bedroom does not feature satellite or cable. The minimum stay length for this home is three nights.
