We love your beautiful cottage, and have had such a wonderful stay. The rooms are charming, and light and airy, and you have everything we could possibly have needed to make our stay comfortable.
We hope to come again next year.
We have just returned from a perfect family holiday in Samphire Cottage (6 adults and a baby) and cannot recommend it highly enough. It is spotlessly clean, warm, cosy and very comfortable and has everything you might want for the perfect holiday. The furnishings, bed linens and towels are high quality, the kitchen well equipped and the Aga is a complete luxury. We were welcomed with fresh flowers in several rooms. The owners Richard and Vanessa were very understanding when we had to re-arrange our original dates at very short notice due to a family br=ereavement. The location of Samphire Cottage is perfect too, with beautiful beaches and stunning scenery on the doorstep. Definitely a 5" property.
Delightful Cornish cottage, with excellent facilities and accommodation, close to several sandy beaches. We returned to the area after 25 years! Welcomed by charming friendly owners, with a delicious home made cake after a long journey!
This is a very beautiful cottage that has made 4 generations of our family's reminiscing holiday complete. Thank you, see you soon.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Samphire Cottage. Vanessa and Richard are lovely welcoming owners, presenting their gorgeous cottage exceedingly well. Wood burner in the lounge, AGA cooker in the kitchen/diner, original uneven flagstone ground floor and lovely beds and bedrooms, all make for the perfect getaway in such an idyllic location. We cant wait to find another slot in our and their diaries!!
What a wonderful find for our Christmas break. Having been let down by the flooding in the Lake District we found this delightful cottage. Vanessa and Richard couldn't have been more helpful and kind. On arrival we were greeted by Vanessa, a home made cake and a box of goodies. The cottage was decorated with some Xmas decorations and they had even provided a Xmas tree. The listing description is accurate and the pictures don't do it justice. The cottage was spacious, clean and extremely well maintained; the bathrooms were modern and clean with an unlimited supply of hot water, the beds were extremely comfortable. We had some wonderful walks around the area and on the beaches, dinner in Rick Steins seafood restaurant in Padstow which was excellent, and some lovely cosy nights in by the wood burner. Padstow is only 10 minutes away and is a picturesque harbour with some interesting shops; Rick Steins fish and chips is worth a visit too. We didn't want to leave at the end of our stay. This is a perfect cottage for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday with plenty to do and some stunning beaches.
Spent a long weekend with family celebrating my fathers 70th Birthday. We all had a great time and felt very welcome.
Would highly recommend and hope to return in the near future.
We had a lovely holiday in Samphire Cottage. Everything about the property is first rate - it's location, furnishings and the welcome you receive from Richard and Vanessa make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The garden is secluded and can be a lovely sun trap for afternoon tea or a glass of wine before dinner. Being a very short walk to the beach and coastal footpath makes it a wonderful location for getting out and about without the car. Even the weather was fantastic for us. We hope to be returning soon.
