A Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom Luxrious Apartment In The Heart Of Edinburgh.

Castle Terrace in the historic West End. It is south facing with high ceilings,huge sash windows and working shutters. The stunning lounge has comfortable seating for six, TV and wifi

The master bedroom has a luxurious super king size bed and an ensuite with shower. There is a second large double bedroom, a family bathroom with shower over the bath. There is a double sofa bed is in the dining room which affords a third couple a separate room.

There is a brand new kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.

The apartment is on the first floor. There is no lift.

In common with other capital cities parking is expensive and difficult.

Based in the North East of England ,Castle Terrace is our second holiday apartment in Edinburgh -the first purchased in 2004.

Absolutely wonderful flat

As the listing says the location couldn't be more perfect but the pictures don't do the flat justice. The flat is much larger than it seems in the pictures but still cosy and overlooks a tranquil garden area. The bedrooms are generous and the beds amazingly comfortable. Perfect after a day touring Edinburgh? The kitchen is completely equipped and we used it most mornings for breakfast, just running up the block for fresh scones. I stayed alone in the flat for three days before my friends arrived and I felt perfectly safe both in the flat and walking around the neighborhood. The flat was very quiet with street noise only one night but it was graduation week and the students were celebrating. Did make for an interesting sight as a large majority of the male students wore kilts to graduation.

When booking the flat Val was extremely helpful and before leaving I received a file by email with information on the exact address of the flat and detailed instructions on how to reach it from multiple arrival locations plus things to do in Edinburgh. When I arrived Ashley greeted me and showed me around explaining where everything could be found. The flat was spotless.

The flat is located within a few blocks of everything you could want. One block to the market, great restaurants, pubs, the Saturday Farmers Market, and a bakery selling the best macarons I've ever had. Better than any I had in Paris. I don't think you could find a better location anywhere in Edinburgh. Close enough to walk to the Royal Mile, Princes Street and many of the wonderful sites while still being in a quiet area.

I definately recommend this place and hope to return next year.

Great location

We really enjoyed staying in this very spacious apartment. It's is close to the Grassmarket and Princess St Gardens, and the Usher Hall is just round the corner. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby too.

Fab appartment ad great location

Despite storm Doris we reached our luxury oasis in Edinburgh. Great location , appartment has everything you need wth restaurants and shops nearby. Had great weekend of shopping and culture and was lovely to come back to the appartment which was like a home from home . Will definitely stat again

Castle Terrace is a luxurious apartment in the heart of Edinburgh.

This attractive property is located in the historic Old Town district at the foot of Edinburgh Castle. Steeped in some of Edinburgh’s greatest history. Greater Grassmarket is only minutes walk away from the apartment and to the popular Royal Mile. The apartment is conveniently located for Lothian Road which has a wide and varied range of amenities including shops, restaurants, bars and bistros. Stroll along the old George IV Bridge, where you’ll meet the famous Greyfriars Bobby, before walking through some of Edinburgh’s oldest and most photographed streets including Candlemaker Row, Victoria Street, West Port and our famous view of the great Edinburgh Castle. A vibrant and popular meeting place for visitors and locals alike, you can soak up the medieval atmosphere and enjoy its splendid views of the nearby castle. The area is well served by buses, the new City tram service and an express bus runs from Waverley Station to Edinburgh International Airport. The railways stations of Waverley and Haymarket

This incredibly beautiful city is easy to explore on foot. Princes Street, The Royal Mile and the lively Grassmarket are a few minutes walk away. For outlying attractions (The Royal Yacht Britannia, The Botanic Gardens, Dynamic Earth etc) the hop on hop off tourist bus stops a few metres away. Every Saturday there is a farmers' in Castle Terrace. This will satisfy anyone wishing to taste Scottish fare with porridge, croissants, bacon and Angus beef burgers and cheese to sample. If more serious self catering is on the agenda you will find Scottish cheeses, venison, fresh fish and seafood, smoked salmon and haddock, Aberdeen Angus Beef, lamb and mutton.

The nearby restaurants and bars are too numerous to mention and will suit every taste and pocket.. The Castle Terrace Michelin starred restaurant is just next door, the Usher Hall and theatres just behind the apartment. Despite their close vicinity you will get a good night's sleep as the location of the apartment is not on a main thoroughfare for traffic or revellers.
