This recently built luxurious private property is now available to rent and promises a Spanish holiday par excellence.

Nestling snugly in the beautiful Mallorcan countryside and in the shadow of the gorgeous Tramuntana mountains, Villa Xandot is a perfect marriage of old and new.

Sleeping up to 8, the holiday home has benefited from a total modernisation inside and out, and yet still retains the timeless quality of a traditional Mallorcan farmhouse.

Terracotta roof tiles, traditional solid-wood roof beams, thick stone walls, stone flooring from local quarries, wooden window shutters…it’s all rather beautiful.

As you sweep up the gravel driveway of Villa Xandot and park outside the front door (there is ample private parking space for more than two cars), the 2-story villa greets you.

Enter through the front door and you come across a large hallway leading through to the spacious kitchen/dining room. This is a delightful open-plan space; one that will surely be the focal point of your stay.

As well as some attractive traditional kitchen furniture and a lovely, large solid wood dining table, you have all the modern appliances you need to prepare tasty meals for family and friends. (Check out that huge, double-door American fridge!)

You’ll find the main living area on this floor too – and how delightful it is. Spacious and traditional in style with a stone fireplace and antique furniture, there are large sofas to sink into whilst you catch up with your favourite programmes on the flat-screen satellite TV.

‘All things bright and beautiful’ perfectly sums up the four lovely en suite bedrooms that await your visit.

The master double bedroom suite is fabulous. There are some lovely antique touches here such as Spanish leather chairs, a bedside lamp made from a pottery urn, a solid wooden bed board…and just look at that bathtub – it’s huge! The perfect place to relax and soak away the cares of the world.

There’s also your own private terrace with breathtaking views where you can sit outside and greet the brand new day.

The property features a further luxury double bedroom with en suite bathroom, plus two additional twin bedrooms, again with en suite bathrooms.

And that’s just the inside! It’s out in the great outdoors that Villa Xandot really comes into its own.

Step out of the kitchen/diner and there’s a pretty, shaded terrace that’s ideal for al fresco dining or just relaxing with a good book. There’s a top of the rage barbecue-grill here too.

Outside the lounge area you’ll find another covered terrace, this time well stocked with cosy sofas and comfy chairs.

The swimming pool is absolutely fabulous. Large and rectangular in shape with a stepped entrance, it’s absolutely perfect for an invigorating early morning dip or to cool off from the hot Mediterranean sun.

The lovely stone terrace that surrounds the pool features luxury loungers with parasols. What a lovely way to relax on your Mallorcan holiday of a lifetime!
