Casa Claudia is an attractive property situated in wonderful, large private gardens that include a large lawn area surrounding the pool, pool-side shower and an impressive pool-side gazebo, ideal for shade or dining by the pool. Spacious and comfortable accommodation, that includes a second lounge and wonderful, safe gardens with larger than average 10m x 5m pool make this an ideal villa for families with children. Benefits from air conditioning in three of the five bedrooms, UK satellite television channels, wifi internet, table tennis and table football. Located in a quiet yet convenient position in a cul-de-sac just a minute away from Javea Golf Course and some great restaurants including, the renowned la Masena. Short drive from Javea old town and the main Arenal beach, also within around 10 minutes drive of the centre of Moraira.

Casa Claudia is situated at the end of a quiet residential road with very attractive open countryside and mountain views. Entry is via lockable gates leading into a large driveway suitable for at least three or four cars. Access to the villa is via a few steps to the front door, which leads to the hallway. From the hallway via an elegant Toscan arch there is a good sized lounge/dining room with modern L-shaped sofa, flat screen TV with free view UK satellite channels and a DVD player. There is a feature log burner and attractive beamed ceilings. The independent kitchen has a full range of eye and base level units, granite worktops, electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A doorway from the kitchen leads to the drying area and on to the pool and terrace. Leading from the lounge is a wonderful separate glazed naya (conservatory) with a large wooden dining table and chairs and a rattan patio sofa set, the naya overlooks the large, beautiful gardens and the private pool. French doors from the naya lead down a few steps to the pool and terraces. Off the hallway there are four bedrooms, a master with double bed and large en-suite bathroom and three twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes, the master bedroom and two others have air conditioning and the fourth upstairs bedroom has a free standing fan. There is also a spacious family bathroom. Stairs from the living area lead down to a separate living area with small kitchen area, comfortable sofas, a double sofa bed for two guests and a separate double bedroom. There is also a third bathroom with bath on this floor and double doors leading straight into the gardens. Wifi broadband internet is available throughout the villa. Outside there is a larger than average 10 meter x 5 meter private pool with Roman style steps and a pool-side shower and a large shaded poolside gazebo for dining or relaxing in the shade. Ample good quality sun beds and dining furniture are provided. There is also a good quality table tennis table . There is a large lawned area surrounding the terrace and an abundance of Mediterranean plants, trees and shrubs. Casa Claudia is a well furnished and presented villa and is highly recommended for families looking for space for their children to play. The property is fully enclosed for child safety.

Great outdoor space; tired interior

The outdoor space at this villa is lovely; nice pool, plenty of shade, sun all day, usually a nice breeze and an impressive view of Montgo. Only problem outside is that some of the paving tiles are loose beside the grass which is a bit dangerous when kids are playing.

However, the interior could really do with an upgrade or just a bit of a refresh. It wuld seem sensible to add air conditioning to the other bedrooms and to the living room!

The main bathroom toilet does not seem to be properly attached and there is a pretty bad smell from the drain. The downstairs shower is pretty awful but the main bathroom shower is good with decent pressure.

There are a few broken bits - outdoor parasol, fan, living room light hanging off the wall, bathroom ceiling light.

Most worrying of the broken bits was a heavy plant pot in the living room, some of the tiles have fallen off leaving a razor sharp edge which my 9 month old niece unfortunately cut her leg on!

We also had an issue with the electricity on our first night although the owner was great and had someone come out immediately (at 10pm on a friday night!).

Although there are restaurants within walking distance, they are along the main road with no pavement or streetlights which meant we did have to take the cars to go out for any meals. That was fine for us but I would have liked to know that was the case beforehand!
