2 Twin, 3 Double, Hse Bath & Shower. Small Patio

Holly Cottage is a townhouse located just under 10 minutes walk from the city walls. It offers a ground floor twin bedroom, a further twin bedroom and 3 double bedrooms. A house bathroom with bath, overhead shower, wash hand basin and w,c and a shower room access via two of the double bedroom which has a large shower, wash hand basin and w.c.

The cosy sitting room has a large flat screen TV and DVD. There are 2 large sofas, 2 chairs and window seats. The kitchen has table and chairs for 10, a double oven with 8 ring gas hob. A dishwasher, washer / dryer and fridge freezer. Doors lead to the enclosed walled patio garden with small table and two chairs. There is a staircase from the kitchen leading to a double and twin room. Please note the twin room opens onto the top of the starircase. A stairgate is provided in the wardrobe if you wish to use it. For guest using the twin bedroom they will need to access the house bathroom by either walking through the adjacent double room or going down the kitchen staircase and back up the main staircase.

Free Wifi.

2 Night weekend breaks from 5pm Friday with a later 5pm check out on Sundays only. We also accept American Express.

There is also a cot and high chair. I pet is also welcome. There are two parking permits at the house. Details will be forwarded with your arrival instructions.

Great house, perfectly located for a weekend away with friends.

Have just returned from a brilliant weekend with 9 friends at Holly House. The house was beautiful, clean and very well equipped and provided the perfect base from which to explore York or just catch up in the lovely large kitchen! The centre of York and the train station are both within walking distance and there are also supermarkets, pubs and restaurants nearby. Everyone was very helpful during the booking process and throughout our stay, thank you!

Slightly disappointing.

Inadequately stocked for families, particularly in the kitchen, e.g. Only 2 small tea towels, no cleaning equipment - just a simple dustpan/brush would have helped. No plug in sink and therefore no means of washing up, particularly young children's items. Although the inventory listed a teapot, one could not be found. The bins/recycling boxes outside were overflowing so there was nowhere for us to put our rubbish. The shower in the bath was random to control.

Great house in fantastic location.

Booked for a hen party and was loads of room for us all. Great location as well as centre of York only 5 min walk away. Had problem with bathroom and housekeeping team were very quick to respond to try and sort out. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very impressed with this property. Well organised information, excellent service from caretaker, clean, spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay. 10 mins walk from the city centre. Will definitely return. Highly recommended

Lovely house in an excellent location only 10 mins walk from city centre.

We had a lovely stay and the house was very good for what we wanted. The booking process and the staff that were there to meet us were very good.Overall the standard was very good the house was clean and worked well for us. Just a couple of suggestions which I did mention to Rachel. The amount of crockery and kitchen utensils should be checked as there weren't enough cups for our group of 9 and the number of glasses was limited. Also we didn't take any tea towels and there was only 1. Another suggestion was for an additional toilet if possible and a working fire in the lounge. It was a cold weekend and a fire would have been nice. Overall though our view was that it was a lovely house in an excellent location and one which we would recommend to others and one we would come back next we come to York.
